Available at Amazon. Systematic Theology, Zondervan 2020, 2nd edition, Chapters 52 and 53 - Wayne Grudem With more than 750,000 copies sold, Dr. Wayne Grudem's Systematic Theology has been the most widely used resource in its area over the past 25 years. It’s an excellent addition to every Christian’s library. Available at Amazon. Enhanced edition available from Zondervan. Signs & Wonders Conference / John Wimber. 1985, 12 Sessions Wimber was one of the key leaders in the Vineyard movement. In addition to the lectures, this conference also featured “clinics” at the end of some sessions where spiritual gifts are demonstrated. Wayne Grudem dedicated his Systematic Theology to eight people; Wimber is one of them. The Videos can be found on Youtube, and the Syllabus (180 pages) is intriguing. For questions about healing, see this excerpt, “The 5-step Model for Healing Prayer” (30 minute video) and this two-page handout based on the model. Are Miraculous Gifts for Today? 4 Views Counterpoints Series, Zondervan, 1996. This book offers the 4 nuanced views of the sign gifts–the first being cessationism as discussed, while the other 3 being various views within the continuationist spectrum. Rebuttals and elaborations after positing their views are what make this book unique and helpful! “Modern Spiritual Gifts as Analogous to Apostolic Gifts: Affirming Extraordinary Works of the Spirit within Cessationist Theology.” Vern Poythress.
