From the mind of improv icon Billy Merritt comes The BIT Comedy Network. NEW: PodCLASS with Billy Merritt - world-class improv instruction on the artform's most challenging (but fun) forms! Launched in June 2024, Billy curates and coaches an international cohort of improvisers using podcasts as their stage. The BIT launched two podcasts in the summer of 2024 - rabbitHOLE and Podcast Town. MOVIE! MOVIE! debuted in October 2024, just in time for SPOOKY season, with an improvised double feature. SPOOKY VILLA - an animated short and KILL de SAC - the feature presentation. In December 2024, BIT released two holiday-themed "Hallmark-style" movies with a documentary embedded. Sounds wonky, but it makes sense when you listen! January 2025 welcomed the BIT Spotlight, the network's experimental "stage." Cast member Luke Bovard created a quirky theater community that uses a charming home-grown podcast to publicize productions and spread awareness about the rich lore and fundraising needs of the Regency Theater!
