The Corner Connection - Here Today Gone Tomorrow 'Gone To Soon'

Family, this Corner Connection is short but it's real, and I had to still connect with yll today. I was on a work call when my daughter called me in tears — and y'all already know, when your child calls crying, the whole world stops. She told me one of her good friends had just lost his father while he was at school today. And what hit even harder? I had just seen that man the day before. I knew the father for years and never even realized that was his boy. Small world, FAM. Real small world. This young man, DJ, is three weeks from graduating. Three weeks. And his whole essence and everything to the core of him just changed in a way that will never change back. His father left behind wife, 2 daughters, his grandkids, the community of kids and families he's touched. I'm asking the Corner family to lift DJ and his family up in prayer with me. And if you're carrying your own grief, your own sickness, your own heaviness right now, I see you too. Tap in to this short but necessary message: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner Drop a 🙏🏾 in the comments for DJ and his family, and share this with somebody who needs the reminder that life is here today and gone tomorrow. Tonight, go hug somebody. Call your people. Tell them what they mean to you. Don't wait, FAM. Connect with Cousin Ed: 762-333-2032 or @CousinEdsCorner on all platforms. Cousin Ed's Corner is not just a podcast — it's a family. Share this with somebody who needs to hear it tonight. 🤎👑

Motivational Monday - Is Your Perspective Holding You Back? How to Open Your Mind Without Losing Your Ground!

In this episode, we're diving deep into the power of perspective and what it really means to stay open without losing yourself. Today, I'm sharing a real moment with my daughter that turned a simple iPad setup into a whole motivational message about stubbornness, love, and seeing things from a different angle. Many of us have walls we put up, and do not understand the breakthroughs we miss when we keep a closed mind. Remember the 6 and the 9? Same number, different side, completely different answer. Both right. We're unpacking how that one shift in viewpoint might be the very thing that changes your week. Tap in to start your week off right: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner Now, I want to be clear — I'm not telling you to be a pushover. Stand your ground. Know what you believe in. But there's a big difference between protecting yourself and blocking your own blessings by being too closed off. I'm guilty of it too. This is not just a message from me to you. This is an open Dialog to myself.  Drop me a comment about a time someone's perspective shifted yours, and share how you've learned to stay open without becoming a pushover! Let's keep building and growing together this Motivational Monday, FAM. 💪🏾 Connect with Cousin Ed: 762-333-2032 or @CousinEdsCorner on all platforms. The Corner Connection - How Cousin Ed's Corner Started 'My Podcast Journey'

In this episode, we're pulling all the way back the curtain and sharing the FULL origin story of Cousin Ed's Corner — the story behind the story. So many of y'all have been hitting me up lately asking, "Cousin Ed, how did all of this get started?" and today I'm finally sitting down to tell it. From the very beginning. No shortcuts, no highlight reel — the real, uncut journey. This isn't just about a podcast; this is about the people, the prayers, the pivots, and the purpose that built this podcast into the family it is today. I'm taking y'all all the way back to 2007, back to Mr. Moody's Neighborhood — the show my big cousin Mr. Moody (Jeff) brought me into as a 50/50 partner when podcasting was still strictly audio and most folks couldn't even tell you what a podcast was. I'm sharing how my cousin Kev (Blu) first linked me up with Moody down in Georgia, how me and Moody clicked like two kids who grew up together, and how his genius shaped the way I approach this craft to this day. I'm talking about DJ Naturel, the original trio, the years I quietly sent out Thanksgiving and Easter blessings just to my friends and family, and the Queen Taralyn Michelle who listened one day and told me, "Your voice needs to be heard." That ONE conversation — that's the moment everything shifted. Then we discover how Motivational Monday, Wind Down Wednesday, and Thank God for Everything Friday being born three days in a row. I'm sharing what it feels like to be on the cusp of 600 episodes, almost 20,000 downloads, and discovering that most of y'all are watching Cousin Ed's Corner on your TVs — in your living rooms, bedrooms, in homes I've never stepped foot in. That's not something I take lightly. That's GOD. That's y'all.   This episode is my THANK YOU letter to every single person who poured into this journey — and an invitation to every new FAMILY MEMBER that just pulled up a chair. Tap in Listen now: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner Drop me a comment and tell me — who poured into YOUR journey? Who was YOUR Mr. Moody, YOUR Queen Taralyn? Share how gratitude is shaping the way you show up today, and tag somebody whose voice needs to be heard too. Let's keep honoring the people who helped build us. 💪🏾 Connect with Cousin Ed: 762-333-2032 or @CousinEdsCorner on all platforms. Cousin Ed's Corner isn't just about motivation — we're living it, breathing it, and building it together. If this message moves you, share it with somebody who needs the reminder that their story matters and their voice is needed. 👑🙏🏾 TGFE!
