There are different types of prayers because of the various needs that we have. The type of prayers we engage in determines our results. We have prayer of fellowship and devotion which includes worship and praise. Luke 11 vs 2(NKJV). Prayer of intercession and prayer of supplication.

We should always expect victory against overwhelming odds whenever we worship. Mark 16 vs 17-18 reminds us to believe in God’s authority and remember God’s faithfulness in every situation. When I remember I become hopeful. Prayer: Lord help me remember tonight. The Holy spirit wants synergy with the believer to help your life. He aligns your spirit with God’s plan.(John 14 vs 15-18 AMP). We have received the rivers of living waters which are the Holy Spirit. John 7 vs 38 -39(AMP) God wants us to not walk naturally but to connect with God. He wants us to walk in truths and understand deep things. God doesn’t want us to be rich for being rich sake but has desires more for us. The status is a means to an end. God didn’t kill Jesus so we can have money, good health but that the entire world be reconciled with Jesus. My life is evangelism. The holy spirit empowers us to be nice, show kindness to others. Sometimes the hindrance to your prayer life is God’s will. What is the reason for the situation you are currently in?. We should get used to saying thank you in dark places. Another hindrance is doubt and unbelief however memory is faith building. If we can remember God’s goodness, we can believe that He will do it again. God has come through so God will come through. God has healed before, He will heal again. It is okay to remember what God did for someone. That is what salvation is, that someone told you what God did for him and you believed. God is writing your success story so start strong, stay strong, don’t abort in the middle.

As we grow in our walk in God, be it studying the bible, praying, loving your pastor, desire to grow in your giving. Your love for God is tested by your giving . 2Cor. 8 vs 7- 10 (NLT) Giving breaks levels, the more you give, the more you can give. Giving is a journey so you can start small. You can set targets on your giving that way you grow in your giving. People struggle with giving because they have idolized money. It’s okay to desire money but do not love money to a point that it controls you. Math. 6 vs 24 (KJV). De-center money, it’s a tool of exchange. We are stewards of God’s resources, make yourself a tool that God can use. How to give correctly? The attitude of your giving matters. Gen 4 vs 3-7. Take Ananias and Sapphira’s story, they lied about their money and God didn’t accept it because they lacked integrity. Money gotten illegally lacks integrity. Give with Honor and respect. plan your giving ahead, give crisp and clean money. Don’t disrespect your parents because you have them money nor your pastors. Give with love. math 6 vs 3, 1Cor 13 vs 3 Give cheerfully. 2Cor 8 vs 12, 2Cor 9 vs 8 -14 (NLT). Give willingly not persuasively or grudgingly. Giving is not a give and take business we do with God, it is partnership with God.
