Hear about how two guys tried to swindle Travis into a double deal in which they end up getting charged with 19 counts of wire fraud and one becoming an informant. How big a player was Travis’s son, Joe Riley? Were the FBI after him because of his actions, his father, or both? Michael Albanese was part of the Young Italians, but how did he and Joe work together. The Young Italians were part of a drug ring that was linked to the KC Mob and the Cali Cartel in Columbia and Frank explains how big this was. Joe Bartels, the next-door neighbor to Joe Riley, was a paid informant. Learn about Bartels involvement and if he was placed by the FBI. The people Joe Riley hung around including an old time KC mobster at the Italian Gardens. A reverse sting set up the FBI at a Motel 6 to sell cocaine that ends up with FBI shooting and killing someone who shot another guy who survived and the guy sitting outside in the car being charged with felony murder! The panel includes Gary Jenkins, a former KC Police Intelligence Detective that investigated the skim and the host of Gangland Wire Podcast. Geoff Schumacher, an author & VP of Exhibits & Programs at The Mob Museum. Larry Henry, veteran print reporter that runs the LV History & Mob Summit Facebook groups. What is the skim? Get the background from prohibition days. Gary gives us a great in-depth how the skim was uncovered that tells the story of the rise of Nick Civella, who he was, the Spero-Civella War, and the bug at Villa Capri Pizzeria that first heard the mob bosses talking about the money from Las Vegas. Hear about the Marlo Tapes which was a house in full view of three Civella houses. These tapes heard clear description of the skim along with Carl Thomas who was seen as clean by Nevada Gaming Control Board. We discussed the use of code names that disguised who people were. The Brawl of the Wild: Cats/Griz Football Rivalry

Send us a text A football rivalry that began in 1897 which is the 31st oldest in NCAA Division 1. This game is historically known as the Cat-Griz game or Griz-Cat game. The game is advertised as the Brawl of the Wild with the winner receiving a massive over 300lb. trophy named, Great Divide Trophy. Since 1993 it has been the final game of the regular season for both teams and lately has had huge implications on conference championships as well as post season berths. After 2022 this game has been played 121 times! Montana leads the all-time series 73-42-5. The show features four guests, two from each side, talking about the meaning to them of this rivalry. The show starts with Justin Green who played fullback for the Griz in 2003 & 2004 and is now the running backs coach for the University of Montana. Next is Bobby Daly who played for the Cats from 2005-2008 and was a tackling machine. Currently is the asst. head & linebackers coach for MSU. Shifting back to Grizzly side we hear from Colt Anderson who was a three time All Big Sky First team Player from 2004-2009. Colt is the asst. special teams coach for the Cincinnati Bengals. We end with Logan Jones who was a running back from 2015-2019 for Montana State and was part of the Miracle in Missoula.
