  1. Olly Alexander: I Was Destroying My Body

Olly Alexander: I Was Destroying My Body

This week’s guest is the incredible singer, actor, activist and all round icon Olly Alexander. He’s genuinely one of the most talented people I’ve EVER met…from the huge success of his band Years & Years, to his unforgettable performance in ‘It’s A Sin’, to representing the UK at Eurovision, I’m in complete awe of him! We spoke about the madness of sudden fame, his ‘reformed party girl’ status, and the grief of losing his incredible Gran. We also get into the importance of standing up for your trans friends, especially at a time when anti-trans rhetoric feels louder than ever. It was such an honest, funny and moving chat and he’s welcome back any time (even though I’m still fuming that he has a Madame Tussauds waxwork and I don’t). You can see Olly alongside loads of amazing artists at Trans Mission on 11th March at Wembley Arena! Get tickets here. Thanks again to my new roommate Jonny Woo (@jonnywoouk) for joining us to share his LGBTQ+ partying history lesson. You can find more about his bar, The Divine, here.  Please note, this episode contains discussions of drug use. — Find us on: Instagram / TikTok / YouTube — Credits: Producer: Emilia Gill Edit Producer: Rema Mukena Assistant Producer: Alex Reed Video: Josh Bennett, Jake Ji and Lizzie McCarthy Sound: Rafi Amsili Geovannetti Original music: BUTCH PIXY Social Media: Laura Coughlan Exec Producer for JamPot: Ewan Newbigging-Lister Exec Producers for Idle Industries: Dave Granger & Will Macdonald Hosted on Acast. ON IVF… With Jessel Taank and Paloma Faith

We don’t talk about this enough, even though so many of us face it personally or through someone we love. Real Housewives of New York star, Jessel Taank, opens up about her three-year journey to become a mum; the strain it put on her marriage, the financial toll and the moments during five rounds of IVF when she questioned everything - even whether she truly wanted motherhood. And then… she had twins. Paloma Faith also shares her own IVF experience, from the loneliness and an ectopic pregnancy to postpartum psychosis and depression after her first baby. Today, she’s a mum of two and recently announced she’s expecting her third. As someone who’s been through IVF myself, I hope this episode offers comfort, connection and a reminder that you’re not alone - no matter where you are on this journey. Romesh Ranganathan: I Help Others Because I Couldn't Help My Friend

TW: This episode contains discussion of suicide Romesh Ranganathan is known for his BAFTA Award winning show, Rob & Romesh, presenting across TV and radio and his hallmark cynical comedy - but really, what shines through is his generosity, openness and vulnerability, particularly around the subject of mental health.  We talk about how hard it is to tell when someone’s really struggling with their mental health, talking therapy with your children, what it’s really like going to Centre Parcs when you’re in the public eye and Romesh makes a big, BAD confession.  Plus – Romesh’s Mum, Shanthi pops by for a chat with me and my mum, Pam; we talk all about Shanthi’s incredible sacrifices, the impact of Romesh’s relationship with his Dad on his mental health – and Romesh and I bond over what it’s like having Mums that will fight for you on social media comments but also humble you more than anyone.  Hope you all enjoy x If you would like support on any of the issues mentioned in the episode, please head to CALM - www.thecalmzone.net #ROMESHRANGANATHAN #PALOMAFAITH #MADSADBAD — Find us on: Instagram / TikTok / YouTube — Credits: Exec Producer: Jemima Rathbone Producer: Magda Cassidy Video: Josh Bennett & Lizzie McCarthy Sound: Shane O'Bryne Mix: Shane O'Bryne Original music: BUTCH PIXY Social Media: Laura Coughlan Exec Producer for JamPot: Jemima Rathbone Exec Producers for Idle Industries: Dave Granger & Will Macdonald Hosted on Acast. 5. Jordan Stephens: Why We Hurt The People We Love

    ٣٠‏/٠٦‏/٢٠٢٥

Jordan Stephens: Why We Hurt The People We Love

People always tell me that Jordan Stephens is the kind of man we need more of in the world—and honestly, I couldn’t agree more. You might know Jordan as one half of the iconic hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks, but he’s since grown into a powerful voice across multiple platforms. He’s a podcaster, actor, and now a Sunday Times bestselling author with his raw and brilliant memoir Avoidance, Drugs, Heartbreak and Dogs. Jordan opens up about the damage we do in relationships - how he’s confronted his own past, learned from his mistakes, and worked to heal from the pain he’s caused and the pain he’s carried. We also explore love, masculinity, and why acts of hatred towards an entire gender might be a mirror for something unresolved within ourselves. Jordan holds a type of vulnerability that’s powerful and raw, and his commitment to honesty is both disarming and inspiring. It was a privilege having Jordan on, even though he may have stolen my mum’s heart in the process... #JORDANSTEPHENS #PALOMAFAITH #MADSADBAD — Find us on: Instagram / TikTok / YouTube — Credits: Producer: Jemima Rathbone Assistant Producer: Magda Cassidy & Ceyda Uzun Video: Grisha Nikolsky & Josh Bennett Sound: Shane O'Bryne Mix: Dan King Original music: BUTCH PIXY Social Media: Laura Coughlan Exec Producer for JamPot: Jemima Rathbone Exec Producers for Idle Industries: Dave Granger & Will Macdonald Hosted on Acast. 6. Samuel L. Jackson: My First And Last Podcast

    ٠٢‏/٠٦‏/٢٠٢٥

Samuel L. Jackson: My First And Last Podcast

Samuel L Jackson is one of the most well-regarded and iconic actors of his generation. From catching the attention of Hollywood in Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever to playing Nick Fury in the the Marvel franchise and of course his continued career collaboration with Quentin Tarantino, Sam has become one of the most loved actors in Hollywood, and a friend no one ever believes I have! Sam very kindly agreed to pop over to mine when he was last in London for his first ever podcast appearance (and his last!). He spoke to me about growing up in segregation and being on the right side of history - appearing in Kendrick Lamar's iconic Super Bowl Half Time Show. We chatted about his career, from being a high functioning addict and raising his daughter Zoe, to how he makes such evil characters so real and likeable. We talked about therapy and near-death experiences, road-rage and the key to a successful marriage... We didn't leave a stone unturned - it was a JOY! And it will also be the only time you'll ever hear Sam on a podcast - lucky me! #SAMUELLJACKSON #PALOMAFAITH #MADSADBAD — Find us on: Instagram / TikTok / YouTube — Credits: Producer: Jemima Rathbone Assistant Producer: Magda Cassidy Video: Josh Bennett & Grisha Nikolsky Sound: Joe Richardson Mix: Jay Beale Original music: BUTCH PIXY Social Media: Laura Coughlan Exec Producer for JamPot: Jemima Rathbone Exec Producers for Idle Industries: Dave Granger & Will Macdonald Hosted on Acast. 7. Gary Stevenson: The Poorest People Are The Most Generous

Gary Stevenson: The Poorest People Are The Most Generous

The price of living is rising and life is getting increasingly more difficult for many. Gary Stevenson was a trader who predicted and profited from the financial crash in 2008; suddenly he was richer than his wildest dreams, and the most depressed he’d ever been too. Quitting Citibank, he now devotes his time to educating millions via his YouTube channel and book, about the reality of why everything is costing more. So of course, I had to invite him over (and hopefully get some investment tips too…!) Gary opened up about the saddest time of his life, and how he couldn’t understand how he could feel so low whilst earning so much. We spoke about how and why he felt driven to overwork, which led to a breakdown, but at the end of it all, it’s always the people who have the least, who are the most generous. I really enjoyed chatting to Gary, although I’m still none the wiser on what to invest in!
