Snooki & Joey DEFEND Kelly Clarkson & SLAM Brooklyn boutique + hot takes on trad wives & award shows

Crusaders, our dreams are finally coming true! A live show SPOOKTACULAR hosted by besties Snooki and Joey is happening live from New York City at Irving Plaza on October 29th, 2026. Start grabbing your tickets and costumes, as a night of chaos, candy, and contests is about to ensue! The duo round up their celeb filled weekend, recording shows with Julia Stiles, popping into the studio for a special surprise guest, and hitting the bloody red carpet at the ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Season 2 premiere. After the parties are the after parties, from the iconic Jean’s to The Gospel, Snooki and Joey kept the night going. From Pickle Fest to Trader Joe’s, we’ve got all your fall finds and festivals. And while we’re on the subject of shopping, Snooki and Joey have words to mince with a certain boutique in Brooklyn that pulled a ‘Pretty Woman’ on Kelly Clarkson. Can we say big mistake, HUGE! Joey gets Snooki’s take on the trad wife trends storming social media. As a mother of three, loving wife, and absolute boss breadwinner, Snooki informs us that there’s nothing wrong with wanting to provide a home for your family, she just also wants to run 5,000 businesses—otherwise, she’d get bored. Spoken like a true Sagittarius queen. Our crusaders reached out for some serious advice when faced with toxic relationships and hard situationships. But no episode is truly complete without Joey going off the rails and giving us a good rant and his take on award shows… all he’s asking for is a little comedy at the Oscars… and maybe a nomination for our It’s Happening pod! Volume This episode is brought to you by REESE'S Cups, reminding you that everything happens for a Reese's - especially Halloween. The new season of The Kardashians is now streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers. Julia Stiles - ‘I ran in the other direction from fame’

For many of us who grew up in the the 90s, Julia Stiles was an integral part of our coming of age. Her portrayal of the clever, acerbic Kat in 10 Things I Hate About You was a radical reinvention of the blonde teenage female rom-com lead. Her roles in Save The Last Dance and Mona Lisa Smile spoke to our adolescent feminist awakenings and catapulted Stiles to stardom. And, just like the heroines she played, Stiles chose to do things a bit differently. At the height of her teenage fame, she went to study English at Columbia University, continuing to act throughout her degree, most notably in the first of four Jason Bourne films. Her latest project is her directorial debut - the feature film, Wish You Were Here, which Stiles also produced and co-wrote. As a mother of three, Stiles said that her parenting informed her ability to direct. Wish You Were Here is available now to rent or own on digital platforms. ✨ IN THIS EPISODE: 00:00 Intro 02:08 Directorial Debut: Wish You Were Here 03:40 Balancing Comedy and Drama 08:48 Friendship and Fame 13:39 College Life and Career Choices 21:58 Dancing Through Life 26:03 Landing the Role in Save the Last Dance 26:35 Reflecting on the Audition Scene 27:07 Challenges and Triumphs of Filming 27:50 Looking Back as a Mother and Director 29:48 Directing and Casting Jennifer Gray 31:22 Dancing with the Stars and TikTok Memes 35:56 Body Image and Self-Acceptance 45:30 Meeting Taylor Swift and Final Thoughts Grief, how to stop caring what everyone thinks and discussing the most difficult times in their lives - Elizabeth and Julia answer YOUR questions in our subscriber series, Failing with Friends.
