Amy Winehouse & Oasis: Double standards of sex & drugs & rock’n’roll

Miquita and Jordan do not hold back on how the press vultures came at Amy, more so because she happened to be a female pop star. Oasis did not suffer the same scrutiny. Yet the raw genius of Amy Winehouse's Back to Black still stands, 20 years on. She deserved better. Jordan gets Ally of the Year at the Attitude Awards and reveals the thought process behind his speech, and Miquita explains why artist and stage designer Es Devlin’s work means so much to her. Oh, and Jordan’s in Bali, mainly for work but if you’re watching this then you’re welcome for the view of palm trees. Miss Me? Is brought to you by Ecover - Make the clothes you love last longer. Lily Allen burst onto the music scene in the mid-2000s with her debut album Alright, Still. It received critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album. Recently, Lily appeared in the West End production of Martin McDonagh’s The Pillowman and also starred in Dreamland, a six-part television series based on Sharon Horgan’s Bafta Winning short about four sisters living on the Kent coast. Miquita Oliver is a television presenter and radio personality, best known for hosting T4 in the early noughties. These days you can catch her podcasting with her mum Andi and as a regular on Sunday Brunch. Lily and Miquita have been best friends since birth and have a new podcast together Miss Me?, which airs on BBC Sounds. The show features their hilarious twice-a-week transatlantic catch-ups.
