זיוה נשואה ואמה ל 5 לילדים.הינה בוגרת BA בעבודה סוציאלית,בעלת תואר שני בלימודי מגדר.בנוסף לזה הינה, בוגרת תוכנית מנדל למנהיגות חינוכית, הינה בוגרת בית המדרש למנהיגות יהודית פלורליסטית,בשלוש השנים האחרונות מובילה פרויקט ייחודי שבו היא והשותפים שלה מתעדים את תפילות ביתה ישראל. בעבר הייתה מנכ"לית אגודת יהודי אתיופיה ומוכרת כפעילה חברתית מובהקת והשתתפה בהפגנות קהילתיות וחברתיים.
