In the final part of our dicussion on the Princely State of Gwalior, Shashank Singh talks about the struggle for control over the Rajputs of Malwa, between the Scindias and the British. Shashank tells us how Rani Sisodini claimed that her people were under the British and not under the Scindias, although, eventually, her empire was merged with the Scindias.
