वित्तीय वर्ष 2019/20 में, भारत में पर्यटन क्षेत्र में 3.9 करोड़ नौकरियां सृजित की गईं; जो की देश में कुल रोजगार का 8.0% था।

(Tourism in India has significant potential considering the rich cultural and historical heritage, variety in ecology, terrains and places of natural beauty spread across the country. In FY20, 39 million jobs were created in India’s tourism sector; this accounted for 8.0% of the total employment in the country.
