It’s great to have you tuning in!It’s the …final episode. 最終回！ みなさんこんにちは。 突然ですが、今回で最終回になります、この「こんなときのにほんご」。 なのでトピックも何もないのですが、今日は 「長い間ご愛好いただき、ありがとうございました！」 のフレーズを覚えて帰ってください！ ご愛好とは「ある物事を好んで楽しむ」という意味です。 似た日本語に「ご愛顧」があるのですが、こちらは金銭絡みがあり、かつ、よく面倒を見てもらったり特別に可愛がってもらったりする状況を指します。なので、取引先に使うもの、と認識しておくと良いでしょう。 さて、PODCAST「こんなときのにほんご」は、2020年4月から、なんと５年以上も地道に続いてきた番組です。毎週こんな形にしようか、それともこうしたほうが勉強になるかな、などと一人、色々と考えて配信を続けてきましたが、リスナーがほぼいなくなったため、これ以上続けても有益ではないと判断しました。 これまで、本当に、ご愛好ありがとうございました。 そして 私はこれからも、みなさんの日本語学習を応援しています！ また、いつかどこかでお会いできましたら嬉しいです！  それではみなさん、お元気で！Bye! —— English —— Suddenly, this is the last edition of “こんなときのにほんご”. There's no topic or anything, but today I’d like to learn that ‘長い間ご愛好いただき、ありがとうございました！’ phrase and go home with it! “ご愛好” means “to like and enjoy a thing”. A similar Japanese word is “ご愛顧”, but this refers to a situation where money is involved and where the person is well looked after or given special affection.It is worth recognising that the latter is used for business partners. Now, PODCAST ‘こんなときのにほんご’ is a programme that has been running steadily for a whopping five years or more, since April 2020. I have continued to distribute the weekly podcast on my own with a lot of thought, but as I have lost almost all of my listeners, I have decided that it would not be beneficial to continue any longer. I will continue to support you in your Japanese language studies! It would be great to meet you somewhere sometime! So, take care, everyone, and Bye!

Think of a natural word that fits the blanks. The answer is “1.さすが”. The word ‘さすが’ sounds like just a nice compliment, but in fact this means ‘confirming that something is true to its reputation or expectations.’  For this reason, it is considered better not to use it with superiors. Please be a little careful!

It’s great to have you tuning in!It’s the 229th time. キャプションには今回も英語を載せているので、日本語が聞き取れなかったりしたらたら参考にしてください！ さて、最近AIが進化してきたことで、本物と偽物の区別がつかなかったりと、大変な事態になっていますね。今日はそんなふうにしてデマをつかまされた時の表現です。次の空欄に当てはまる自然な言葉を考えてみてください。 あーあ、大好きなアーティストのコンサートチケット、一枚くらい当たらないかなぁ… あれ？それって今日からこっちのお店でたくさん発売するって。値段は普通より高いけど絶対買えるって聞いてるけど。 は？あんた、デマ情報に【        】よ！ え？デマなの！？ そうだよ！そんなことあるわけないじゃん！ 答えは、「踊らされてる」です。 これは、他人が意図した通りに行動してしまったり、いいように操られたりしたことを表しています。あまり聞きたくはない言葉ですが、覚えておくと便利です！ That's all for today.  Thanks for joining me today. Think of a natural word that fits the blanks. The answer is “おどらされてる”. This indicates that others have acted as intended or manipulated them for good. It is not a word you want to hear often, but it is useful to remember!

Please select one natural Japanese word from 1 to 3 that fits the following blanks. 1.てま 2.おてすうをおかけいたします 3.もうしわけないです The correct answer is 2. In English, it is said, "I apologise for the inconvenience. “お手数をおかけいたしますが”  is a standard phrase that includes the meaning of apologising ahead of time for any hassle or burden when asking someone to do something for you. Please remember this.

Which explanation is correct for ‘Satsukibare’? Please choose by number. 1. only be used on sunny days in May 2. we can use on sunny days between rainy season periods regardless of the month. The Answer is 2. The term ‘satukibare’ originally meant ‘a break in the rainy season’. However, the term is now also used to refer to ‘crisp sunny weather in May’, making it difficult to understand. It may be worth knowing what it originally meant.

It’s great to have you tuning in!It’s the 224th time. キャプションには今回も英語を載せているので、日本語が聞き取れなかったりしたらたらぜひ参考にしてください！ 今回は、ことわざに関するクイズです。 次の文章はことわざです。空欄に当てはまる動物を選んでください。 [___]も歩けば棒に当たる。 ①猫 ②犬 ③うさぎ 答えは、②犬です。 「犬も歩けば棒に当たる」は二つの意味があります。 一つは、「何か物事を始めたからこそ、思わぬ幸運に出会えた」の意味。もう一つは、「何か物事を始めると、何かと災難にあったりする」の意味。 文脈によって判断するしかないことわざなのでなかなか難しいですが、見つけたらどちらの意味かな？と考えてみてください。 日本のことわざには、動物がたくさん登場します。 例えば ・豚に真珠 ・猫の手も借りたい ・犬猿の仲 ・馬の耳に念仏 ・猿も木から落ちる ・二兎を追うものは一兎も得ず などなど。 それぞれの意味はぜひ、検索して調べてみてください。 Thanks for joining me today. One means ‘because I started something, I met with unexpected good luck’. The other meaning is that ‘because I started something, I met with some misfortune’. Many animals appear in Japanese proverbs. Please search for the meaning of each of these.
