保護司、任期３年に　政府、改正法案を提出

閣議に臨む平口洋法相、１１日午前、首相官邸政府は１１日、犯罪や非行をした人たちの更生を支援する保護司の任期を現行の２年から３年に延長することを柱とする保護司法改正案を閣議決定し、国会に提出した。 The Japanese government adopted a bill Tuesday that will extend the terms of volunteer probation officers from two years to three years.
