米でＨＶ生産に１４００億円　「カローラ」現地製造へ―トヨタ

【ニューヨーク時事】トヨタ自動車は１８日、米国で販売が好調なハイブリッド車の現地生産を強化するため、南部ミシシッピ州などの５工場に計９億１２００万ドルを追加で投じると発表した。 Toyota Motor Corp. said Tuesday that it will invest 912 million dollars in five U.S. plants to further localize production of hybrid vehicles, which continue to sell well in the country.
