We have to go back to the drawing board. 2. catch someone off guard - surprise someone by doing something that he or she was not expecting. (take @ by surprise) *I was taken aback by that comment! ex) Mike was caught off guard when they asked him to direct the meeting. 3. corner a market - dominate a particular market. Apple has cornered the market on mac book. They have a very large percentage of market share. (big player, key player)
