    05 - Food Storage

    In this episode we will go over food storage, what to store, what not to store, safety, how to start a storage on a budget.  The one thing that I didn't remember to add during the bucket sealing section in this podcast was the use of dry ice to help create positive pressure and displaced the oxygen in the bucket by placing a small piece of dry ice in the bucket (and I do mean small about the size of a mini candy bar) other wise you may turn your food bucket into a dry ice bomb on accident! Sorry in advance.  A really good recommendation for books to read that are Prepper minded and have a great deal of value in my eyes are: Boston's Gun Bible, How to survive the end of the world as we know it by James Wesley Rawles, Patriots Series also by James Wesley Rawles, and the Doom and Bloom Medical Guide.  I also really like the 2 part book series One Second After and One Year After by William R.     01 - Getting to know your Host

    In this first ever podcast I just wanted to start off by introducing myself to you.  I go pretty quickly through my background and life story so that you as a listener can get a feel for me and where I come from.  Also know that I am just a guy figuring out all this stuff as I go, so please just hang in there with me and I'm open for any feedback, advice or comments.  I would love to know if anyone is out there listening and if your interested in the type of show I'm trying to make please feel free to leave me ideas for future shows, correct me if I made any mistakes on subject matter in any show and I will do my best to correct the issue.  Thanks for giving me a chance and your support!  Semper Fi!
