I've also come to realize that there are deliberate distractions in our world that hinder individuals from reaching their true righteous potential. In this discussion, we will explore 3 key distractions and strategies to overcome them: 1. Social Media Influences – Understanding both the positive and negative effects. 2. Lust – How to control physical desires and avoid falling prey to the carnal flesh. 3. Discouragement – People will wrong you, but is it worth straying from God's path because of it?     Journey to Adulthood: Are You Protected?

    As I go through memories and old voice notes I left for myself I came across a good one that I recorded in January of 2023. This is when my life took me on a journey I had to prepare for at 22 years young. I traveled by myself and was away from home for almost a year. During this time I got to see people for who they were and observe the influences that wanted me. It made me realize the importance and purpose of being under my parent's cover. I began to be more conscious of this journey to adulthood and think deeply about my reason for wanting to venture off alone for that time being. I saw the good and the bad. It made me realize how easy it is to veer off the path to righteousness. I saw the many traps laid to ensnare innocent young adults who naively thought that “doing their own” thing would be the solution to their problems. And I feel compassion knowing that some people may not have been properly equipped to take on the world at such young ages and why maybe their life was the way it is now. So I send this message to any teen or young adult preparing to leave their parent’s covering. Ponder on your intentions for doing so. And be sure it is time for you to go. Does this mean hinder yourself and don’t become an adult who can think on your own? No, but despite your age, be more intentional in life and be observant. Be careful how you love your life. When we take that walk of faith into the world without our Guardians it’s important that we have already created a firm foundation in the Creator. It’s important that we know the Creator in our parent's home and come to our own understanding of Him. This will be your shield and defense. As you journey on your own, don’t forget to ask God to be with you. We may have our own minds but without proper guidance, one can easily lose themselves. Keep God close to you, and seek His approval in life. We may be adults but that doesn’t separate us from our Maker. And this is what I felt appreciation for, that when I was alone and faced with challenges I could ask the Creator for guidance, and surely I was protected and guided to the right way. I made it back home with my soul intact after that year away. Since then there have been many changes in my life but one thing is for certain, the Creator never changed. He’s continued to show me love and correct me. So this is my advice to any young adult wanting to on their own. Have you built your relationship with God? Do you know what He required of you? Leaving home is not separating yourself from your upbringing but rather embracing them on your own and using them to maneuver throughout life. Peace and love.

    Converting Negative Emotions to Positive Emotions: JEALOUSY

    Emotions have been a big subject in Ohadah's life. Since a young girl, she was faced with the challenge to mature emotionally. It all started when she began to have this feeling of heat in her body in situations where she felt small or as if life was unfair because it had not yet granted her its blessings. But as she matured and time progressed she was able to define this emotion, she was feeling jealous, and she never felt good feeling this emotion so she began a journey at a very tender age converting jealousy into positive emotions. Not because jealousy is unnatural but because it wasn't her to feel that way about minuscule things. She is confident that this wisdom came from Elohim who girded her with an armor of strength to not be consumed by this emotion. As her art progressed and perfected she now can smile confidently and say she only feels inspired by others when she observes something she is working towards in her surroundings possessed by another human being, she feels thrilled that her desires are not too far out there because people around her ability to attain them. She feels admiration for the beauty in others and no less of herself because she may need more work in that area. She is not afraid to tell someone they inspired her, she is not afraid to e happy with others and she knows that what she possesses no one can take from her only Elohim for He gave her these blessings. The race is not against our fellowmen but against the thoughts we have that tear us down, can we cross the finish line before they do? Can we master the Art of Self and Emotions? And are we able to identify these emotions? In this Episode Ohadah shares some of her techniques she uses to overcome emotions that if not understood can cause a man to go mad.     Approaching Righteousness

    The precise sighting of the moon is a practice amongst Hebrews according to Genesis 1:14 (And God said: 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years). In the Hebraic culture a New Moon ushers in a new month. Eight days ago ( Gregorian calendar approximate: September 27, 2022) a new moon was sighted which brought in the Seventh month, Eitaneem. This month is thought to be the holiest month on the Hebrew calendar. As it contains several holy days, and the very first day of the month is holy. Yom Qippur is kept on the 10th day of the month of Eitaneem. Accuracy sighting of the New Moon of this month is held of high importance so that the holy days are kept accurately. Yom Qippur is the Day of Atonement. A day to make peace with God, and confess personal shortcomings, sins, mistakes, and unknown errors. It is a day of sincere humility and affliction. We fast as a way to afflict our souls according to Leviticus 23:28-29 (And ye shall do no manner of work in that same day; for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before the LORD your God. 29) For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from his people.) so that we might be forgiven and have the burden and corruption of sin removed from our souls. Hoping for a brighter journey ahead of our lives, and to better strengthen ourselves in the laws of YAH so that we would gain YAH'S favor and blessings. All praises due to YAHOWAH. On the 7th day of the Hebrew calendar in the holy month of Eitaneem, I felt moved to express my thoughts that have been bugging me for months now. As I approach Yom Qippur, a very sacred and holy day, I found myself in deep reflection after overcoming a sinus infection. To lose my taste, smell, and days later my voice I realized how the smallest things are too a blessing. It had me bed-struck conversing with YAH in my heart. As time passed in my dark room lightning accompanied my thoughts. I counted each second between the lightning and thunder waiting, eagerly, for the loud boom to sake my soul. I was moved to my window to stare at YAH'S hosts at work. Purple lighting strikes, lavender light illuminating the sky, and fear in my soul. I gave reverence to YAH at this very moment and thanked YAh for all that I forget to thank YAH for, to look deep within and find a reason to blame myself for the way the world is because I feel it is my responsibility, among many other warriors, to carry this burden. May these words be fulfilling and may YAH find them pleasing. If it is pleasing to YAH then praise YAH but all things that I have said that are not pleasing are from me and the opposing forces. All praises due to YAHOWAH. Amen.

    After deep thought, we came to the realization that certain influences have failed us. The conversation flows from there. We discuss influences and actions that failed us and benefited us, admit to certain influences that no longer serve us, and how we must develop a discipline to discontinue these negative influences so that the younger ones growing up in this world won't have to experience a life of suffering that could have been avoided if someone would stand up and tell the truth. We understand that some changes take time but if we never address the problem how will we ever find solutions? You might hear us mess up the word several times we ask that you spare us for the sake of the podcast, but on a serious note, do you often find yourself in and out of authenticity?
