It's been the most incredible journey for us - we've learnt, grown, argued, but most of all, had so many laughs together. Along the way, we found some of you to join us - dedicated listeners & members of our 115 miles community. We know that some of you have truly appreciated the openness, curiosity and vulnerability that we'd often bring to difficult subjects. We're grateful to our friends who have joined us on the show, helping to elevate our conversations with new perspectives. This is definitely not the end of Josh & Has - it's just a pause whilst we focus on some big things in our lives respectively. Watch this space!     Are you a friend or a mate?

    We're pulling one of our most popular ones from the archive this week. We recorded it way back in March last year. It's about being mates. And it's poignant because we need our mates more than ever these days. Apparently, the average friendship lasts 17 years. We dig into: Are you still friends with people from school?Who is in your closest circle?What makes a good friend? We go deep on friendship. We explore what the difference is between being mates and being great friends.     Are you a true ally?

    One of the realest, most raw conversations that we have ever had about our friendship. With the recent race riots occurring in the UK, we track back a little further to what began with an innocuous Whatsapp message from Josh to Has that led to an heated conversation about race between us. Within that, as ever between us, the conversation led to insight and better understanding of each other. And this has led Josh to some heartfelt commitments around his privilege, community and role he wants to play in being an ally. It has also led to insights for Has about what he wants to do also. We dig into all of this and the wider reflections on what's been happening in the UK around the race riots. If you have ever wondered how to support your friends who are people of colour, or want to learn the perspective of what it's like to live through the lens of someone who is not white in this country, then you must dig in.     Why is it hard to take advice from friends?

    In this episode, we did deep into meditation, stretching & listening to yourself. We explore why it's hard to take wisdom and advice from friends and why sometimes, you just need to find your own path on things. The show was not the planned one - we just organically found ourselves flowing into a really intuitive conversation that had us surface some powerful insights.     Where are all the normal people?

    In this episode, we explore emotional comedowns after big events and are asking where are all the normal, smart people? After Josh's mammoth 2 week book tour, we dive into what life feels like after this as normalcy sets in. We dig into why people often crash after big events and how to navigate that period. From there, we move into a conversation about our society. It seems to hard right are winning. Despite Labour winning a huge majority in the UK election, the popular vote tells another story. If Proportional Representation existed, they would have 236 vs 411 seats, and Reform would have 94 vs 5 seats. It’s not quite the left victory when you look at this way. Similar (and potentially more worrying) things happening in the US and across Europe. The hard left is equally divisive and isolating. You're either in it, or you're the other side. Fringes seem to be getting bigger and louder. The majority middle seems quiet and inert. The people who can stop the nutters seem to be underground or sleeping.     Is therapy better than coaching?

    In this episode, we (Josh & Has) first go deep on the check-in, exploring the things we think about and don't often say. We then dive into the topic of therapy vs coaching, which stemmed from an online conversation that began the previous week. A well known and pretty active on social media founder in the therapeutic space made a claim about coaching not being able to support people to make long term changes in their mental health needs.     Is crying good for you?

    It's Men's Health Week, and we go deep into it this week. We bust some fallacies that men don't do emotions (just look at football fans if you don't believe us), and we explore why it is so much harder for some to do it in normal life. Has talks about his journey with his family, and also his struggle to let go and cry via a discussion around visualisations. The recent societal narrative has veered us towards zoning in on mental health when we talk about men's health, but we actually dig into the physical side of it - how often do we think about it, does health play on our minds and do we go to the doctors?
