The Mess Around with Hannah and Lamorne

Loved this show and love hearing BTS info and stories from cast and beyond. Love that it’s still going! Never stop!!

I love the tv show but I can’t stand the podcast anymore. Between Hanna’s high pitched voice & laugh & the sound of Lamorne’s sticky dry mouth & trump impersonations It’s too hard to listen to without getting annoyed. Changed how I see them in the show & that really sucks.

I love New Girl and used to love the pod, but unfortunately, with all the GLP-1 ads and Lamorne promoting fasting from food and water for days and Hannah normalizing that behavior as just “what all moms do,” I just can’t listen anymore. I find it very triggering to my personal struggles with disordered eating. It makes me think “oh look everyone else, including these people I look up to, doesn’t eat either. I should try doing that again” despite the very real, very negative consequences it has had on my health. Restricting your food or water intake is not safe or healthy. No food or body shape/type is less healthy than disordered eating. All love to Lamorne and Hannah, but please be a little bit more careful about what you say/promote to so many fans.

I’m having a really hard time listening to this pod lately. I’ve been sticking with it because I love New Girl and I love the people in the cast, but episodes lately have been seriously lacking focus and the hosts go off topic constantly. Especially in the latest episode, they get back on topic for 2 minutes and trail off for another 5. I had to keep skipping around to when they actually talk about the episode. I don’t want to abandon this show because I love the bts snippets we do get, but the lack of focus is starting to drive me nuts.
