I love this podcast for it’s actionable steps. Deirdre makes it obvious she is trying to help the listener in very concrete ways. Her tips have helped me in public speaking both professionally and personally—I have more confidence, I’m more intentional in my preparation, and I get really good audience feedback. Thank you!

I was asked to give a presentation about a topic I knew well but hadn’t spoken publicly (on zoom) in a while. Well - I found Deirdre’s “Crazy Good Talks” and she saved me, and prepared me so well! I didn’t feel polished or ready to give a long (45min/hour) speech about a difficult topic - that is - until I listened to these fabulous informative podcasts and - I am so grateful. I used many of her tips. Her thoughts about how to “open” are especially helpful.…..and it’s true: I felt the audience relax right away and could see the folks thinking about the topic. Their eager faces made me feel comfortable, confident and relaxed so then I was too. Deirdre is a gem; her podcasts are a gift to all of us!

I’ve meant to do some work polishing speaking skills and this podcast provides hugely valuable tips in each bite-sized episode. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed on your own, but this podcast has guided me to make the tweaks that matter. Thank you!
