Magic: The Gathering Drive to Work Podcast

Hey Mr. Rosewater, I have been an on and off listener of your podcast for about a year. I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts about negativity online. Particularly your differentiation between constructive criticism vs personal attacks. I also liked the episode about your personal struggles with the shifting formats and how others in the community might address that problem. FWIW I strongly feel that in my playgroup, commander is first and foremost a strategic format, even though it also has elements of politics and luck, which we view as a positive. As you said, magic contains multitudes and that’s the coolest thing about it. Keep doing what you do and [redacted] ‘ignore’ the haters.

I played shortly after the game first came out, and then stepped away for 30 years. I’ve been listening to this podcast constantly for about a year now and I’ve learned so much about the game, where it came from, what they’ve been doing over the years, and where it’s going. This podcast is an invaluable resource.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while,and it’s just so awesome. A friend introduced me to magic and I’ve loved it ever since. I have Arena. I recently got my first commander deck, and I’m eagerly awaiting the Edge of Eternities drop. Thank you Mark Rosewater for this amazing podcast.

I’m newish to Magic and I’m enjoying the insight and information behind the creation. I like the length of the episodes and it makes a fun listen on my way to or from work. Great variety of topics.
