1980s Now (formerly The 80its) is a weekly examination of the importance of 1980s pop culture and its continued influence today. We demonstrate that nostalgia alone doesn’t account for the contemporary fascination with our favorite decade. Instead, we share personal experiences and interview experts--including icons from 1980s music, movies and TV--to demonstrate the “era of greed” bore the greatest moments in movies, music, television and sports. The show is equally entertaining and informative.

Flashback: 1980s Atari Christmas w/ Howard Scott Warshaw

Flashback to Christmas last year when Will and Ray spoke with legendary video game designer Howard Scott Warshaw. Warsaw created "Indiana Jones," "Yars Revenge" and the infamous "E.T." for the Atari 2600. He tells us about his time at Atari and meeting Steven Spielberg. A rad slice of heaven.

Really fun pod for all fans of the 1980s. The hosts give a rundown of 80s-related news then dive into something very cool for fans of the best pop culture decade in history.

Fun and Fascinating

I’ve been listening to The 80its for about a month or so (first listened to the 80’s cartoon episode with Jon from Gen X Grown Up) and I’ve really been enjoying the show. The recent interview with Chris Butler about 1980’s music is definitely a favorite.

I Pity The Fool...

who doesn’t try out this 80s podcast! Will and Ray play off each other well. Fun guests and of course, it’s about everything 80s!
