Back Under 300 And Road To Ironman

Huge milestone this week on 2 Guys 1 Scale. Charles is officially back under 300 pounds, a massive step in his weight loss journey. Naturally, instead of celebrating responsibly… we decided it was the perfect time to make a terrible decision: 👉 Registering for a Half Ironman (70.3). Because nothing says progress like signing up for a race that includes a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride, and a 13.1 mile run. In this episode we cover: Charles gets back under 300 lbs Scott’s continued weight loss progress How accurate calorie logging is actually working The return of the Full of Sh*t Meter How our training is going Running mileage struggles Why hills in Missouri are brutal Are we actually ready for race day? Our March Wild Magic challenge continues: Swim, bike, run, or lift every single day No excuses No skipped workouts We break down: Which workouts sucked the most Who’s actually staying consistent Whether this challenge is helping or killing us We officially commit to doing a Half Ironman triathlon later this year. We discuss: Training plans Zwift cycling miles Swimming progress Why running might be our weakest discipline Because it wouldn’t be 2 Guys 1 Scale without diet chaos: Pizza and Pop-Tarts Fast food temptations Calorie logging honesty Why “perfect dieting” never lasts Plus: Non-Scale Victories Goofs of the Week Training struggles Public accountability This podcast follows two regular guys documenting their real weight loss journey, the ups and downs, and the ridiculous challenges we sign up for along the way. Has Everyone Else Been Sick All Of 2026?

We’re back… but not in the Fat Pad together. Charles is quarantined at home because all three of his kids tested positive for the flu, and Scott refuses to catch influenza for the 97th time this year. So this week we’re recording remotely — and somehow still spinning the Wheel of Doom. Scott: 214.8 lbs (morning weight) Charles: 302 lbs (morning weight) Scott’s Fat Pad weigh-in last week: 218 lbs Charles sets a bold goal: 293 next week We break down: Fast food confessions (McDonald’s Arch burger, Burger King, Larry’s burgers) Logging struggles and flirting with calorie limits Why eating out makes tracking easier (and harder) Teetering without fully falling off the rails Charles wins February’s challenge and lands on Wild Magic. The result? 👉 Starting March 4th:We must swim, bike, run, or lift EVERY DAY in March. No excuses. No flexibility loopholes. Just consistency as we prepare for: Our upcoming Half Marathon A Half Ironman (70.3) later this year Stair climb events Triathlon training that’s starting to feel real Bike issues (electronic shifting drama) Wildwood hill rides Why cycling might be our strength Why running 13.1 miles is about to humble us Free vs paid triathlon training plans How to stay motivated when workouts feel like chores Scott officially trades the truck for a Subaru Outback Wilderness and declares it his first day as a lesbian. We also discuss: Tesla self-driving insanity Why electric cars feel dystopian Costco discounts for vehicles And whether a 199 lb weigh-in deserves White Castle Scott wants 210 lbs (morning weight) by end of month Charles is chasing sub-300 again Long-term goal: Can we BOTH hit 200 lbs in 2026? Plus: Non-Scale Victories Goofs of the Week Hiking plans at Castlewood & Wildwood Zwift Insider interview announcement Cat hair struggles in the Fat Pad This episode is classic 2 Guys 1 Scale — honest weigh-ins, chaotic goals, public accountability, and two dudes trying to outwork their past selves. 📅 New episodes every week.⚖️ No hiding.
