Ezra and Agnes’ insights into Jewish thought and tradition are captivating. Hearing each of their respective experiences as Jewish queer people is so inspiring and each time I listen I feel like I’ve walked into a calm, welcoming space. I also love hearing them expound on scripture as well as other Jewish literature. I’m excited to hear more whenever Chanukah comes around!!

I’ve always enjoyed reading interviews with Ezra because she always has such intelligent, insightful things to say, no matter the topic. The conversational format of this podcast is even better, as you get a double dose of two people with smart and interesting things to say. You can hear the joy in Ezra and Agnes’ voices as they make connections between things that initially seem quite disparate (that is, religious and philosophical concepts in Orthodox Judaism, and their lives as queer/trans women in the modern world). I feel so calm and happy every time I listen. Thank you for creating this.

I’ve been hearing about this project since it’s infancy and was stoked to listen. Although I am not Jewish, I really relate to the spiritual talk going on here as well as the queer conversation. The topic of how Punk and Jewish spiritual practice complement each other is super interesting. Can’t wait to listen more and learn about the holidays and questions. Great job, folks!
