I believe it quite often we as people have a tendency to highlight the flaws in others when pose with a question especially regarding dating so I wanted to take the time to point out the positives or green flags when it comes to a woman of interest. Now, there are many green flags that can be discussed so fellas if you happened to not hear it mentioned then do us a solid and comment what else you find to be a green flag when dating women. So many traits a woman can possess that can contribute to the peace of a union. Fellas, ever find yourself just not having much success in dating or just communicating with the opposite sex? I believe it’s happen to us all at some point where we just don’t seem to align with what it takes to maintain the attraction with a woman we find to be interesting or attractive. How about we narrow it down to some behaviors and skills that may increase our chances to link with a woman of interest. I love music, many forms of it and it was constantly played in the home growing up especially on Sundays around noon. The thing is, a lot of the music I’m into today wasn’t even played in the house. We meet people in our lives that tend to listen to different kinds of music and sometime they leave an impression on us that has us wanting to step outside the box we’re used to within our family or friend group in childhood. One thing that my experience in the military taught me was the amount of differences in the people that we meet who become lifelong friends. You recognized that you weren’t the same person you once held onto as your identity. You may have unlearned much of what was taught in adolescence or decided that you were going to live a more virtuous lifestyle. Whatever the case is, that incident led to progress and awareness opening your eyes to much in God’s Universe that would protect you. Love is something that we directly or indirectly long for in this life. We are love yet somehow we chase it as if we don’t already have the love required to live. More importantly, what place or role does love play in our lives? Do we misconstrue love to be attention? Acceptance? Validation? Or as Chris Rock states “we traded Love for Likes”. Let’s talk about love and its roles. Do you remember what you were insecure about when you were in school? The things that would haunt you if it were to happen in school. I remember many things that don’t mean shit today for obvious reasons, but in the 1900’s I was so concerned about a bunch of of things that never happened. Be it intellectually or even sexually? I can remember a time where this woman had my nose wide open as well as me acting out of character just to be impressive to her. Funny to look back at it but certainly pitiful to have actually done so. Either way, i pedestaled the situation and it costs my identity. I have to remember that they need my permission to offend me, but dammit sometimes “I got time today” is the mindset and I have to talk myself off the ledge to not resort to childish behavior. When has there been a time where you and your friend(s) did not see eye to eye on something? Do you believe it was worth it looking back? How much time can go by without speaking our friends over something minor? We just believe we have so much more time with them until life "lifes" the f**k out of us. How many times aloud or in our heads have we said " don't deserve this"? What does deserve mean anyway? Who deserves something and why do they "deserve" it? Well anyways, I belleve imposter syndrome can be common for a lot of us that were taught we weren't enough early on In life and that what we've "earned" somehow correlates that we don't "deserve" it. It can be challenging to belleve at times, but it takes practice of the mind to program that we actually earned the life we have. Let's talk about Imposter syndrome and how it affects our psyche. Most of us have been working since we were 16 and some even earlier, throughout those years, there have been some personalities we've come across that have been very influential on us in a productive sense. They left their impression on us that helped us navigate through work and sometimes through life. We are a social species and the people we've met along the way to present day have assisted us in becoming who we are in this very moment. I want to share a bit about a few of the spirits l've come across in life that helped to make myself and their peers better persons.
