    Episode 296 How We Envy Sensers! How many of us have the courage to say that we envy something or someone? I don’t believe it has to be a negative connotation to the word itself, but maybe a mild form of admiration. I know have most certainly envied people and things throughout life and perhaps found healing through recognizing such in myself. I’d like to share that with you on this topic. Do you remember a time where you were afraid to make a mistake? Some of us are still living in that mindset, but what if you learned that it’s okay to make mistakes? I’ve put myself in some toxic situations regarding sex throughout my life. (What a way to start the topic, right?) It’s caused me to look back and see that sex was the only thing that was working for us. The compatibility we were hoping for was non-existent. The nectar was sweet enough to keep me stuck in the poison well, but I’m grateful to see things when able to detach from situations. Shed a better perspective for self in overcoming that mental hurdle in life. You don’t realize how much you’re recreating the nest or familiarity until you’re already in it. One of my favorite quotes is “have the courage to be what you want to be”, I believe a great deal of us tend to conform to what others want us to be in order to fit in. I also believe that we can overcome the critique of our peers and live as we wish practicing unconditional love to one another. How does one stay true to themselves while being forced to fit into everyone’s idea of you in their mind? I’d say I spent the last few years improving my ability to communicate with others. Before that, it was pulling teeth to have a conversation with someone not through text. It took some work but I believe we can evolve when it comes to the capacity to create meaningful conversations with people. When you spend some of your life avoiding getting close to someone and then you run across a person that shifts your entire viewpoint on that and interesting enough, it scares the shit out of you.     Episode 292 How A Man Shows Love Sensers! Have you ever been so negative towards yourself or hard on yourself so much that you didn’t even know where it started? A constant struggle at accepting that you were lovable or even worth having someone be kind to you. At one point in time, I had this mentality and it made for a trying time in life leading to poor choices in a spiraling cycle. The lyrics to Boyz II Men hit song “End of The Road” said “we belong together/and you know that I’m right”, but what if we were wrong about such? What if we’re so incompatible no matter how much we love each other or you say that you love me that living together long term comes off as unbearable to one of us? Such a harsh way to put it, but very well has been the case for some of us. We love each other, but we don’t seem to have that factor of going the distance. How many marriages have had this happened? I’m not qualified to speak on marriage just yet so how many relationships can be described as such? I’ve been around a few men in my life with different age groups and they’ve all shown love in different ways. There’s the man that kept the lights on and made sure you didn’t hurt yourself doing stupid shit as a kid then there’s the man that actually hugs the people he cares for. These men and many alike have shown love without saying I love you out loud. I’m firmly an advocate for telling the people you value that you love them while you can, but it possible that some men have gone through enough pain that it almost becomes a fight just to get them to say I love you.
