Vintage Vegan Diner - Affordable & Accessible

Celebrating Pride, Providing Plant-Based Are you looking for affordable plant based options? Do you want simple vegan meals delivered right to your door? Tumn and Taylor's Vintage Vegan Diner went viral before they could finish their website. With one tweet, the Las Vegas based queer couple launched their plant based company into the stratosphere. Tumn Parham and Taylor Riley-Parham tell 2 Sharp Chefs Lorraine Moss and Louiie Victa they had to transition to frozen meals because the hot meal catering became too labor intensive. But their mission to get vegan options into disadvantaged communities is still intact. The tofu lovers say they're on the lookout for a new spot to build a vegan drive-thru. “Just finding those communities where it is underserved. Not necessarily placing it… where there’s a lot of vegan places," says Tumn. Taylor adds, "That’s not who our target audience is… our target audience is the people how we grow up... those are the people we want to reach because those are the people who are gonna change the world… our future." And the Vintage Vegan owners' future includes an extended road trip in their rehabbed RV as soon as they can meet the demand of their thriving online business and their newly minted frozen vending machine downtown. BiteSized: A Foodie Friendly App

BiteSized With Good Vibes Do you like to get information in less than a minute? Brjden Crewe left freelance writing to start his own business by the bite. His app/magazine biteSiZeD boasts more than a million downloads from phones around the globe. Crewe and his team shoot videos at various locations across Las Vegas to show what's available in each neighborhood. When you download the app, you'll get the establishments' highlights in tiny one minute increments. And you won't find any bad reviews in this digital lifestyle magazine. "We don’t do any reviews, no comments. We just want to let you guys know, ‘hey, this place is available.’ We want you to go check it out. If you enjoy it, great. If not, I could tell you about another two or three thousand places around town if you want to try, you should try. We’re about the positive vibes. We’re about letting people know what’s going on in their city,” says Crewe. In this 2 Sharp Chefs & A Microphone episode, you'll also hear an interesting discussion about what Las Vegas might be missing, in terms of food. Crewe tells Chefs Lorraine Moss and Louiie Victa about peach cobbler nachos (?), and you might be surprised about what he considers his perfect Vegas night.
