2200TAPS

A Veterans mission to help save lives by giving people a safe place to share their stories through film, music and media! Why? Losing people, especially our own kids to suicide is absolutely gut wrenching. Losing 22 Veterans a day is b******t and I was almost one of them! I will continue to stop at nothing until we get that number down to ZERO! We share stories of those who have gone through traumas/tragedies, but how they've been able to overcome them because somebody needs to hear it. Is that somebody you?

EP: 74 John Larocchia, FDNY (Ret.) | Laughter Saves Lives (Founder) | Comedian

September 11, 2001 is a day many of us will never forget. Some of you weren't even born which is a hard pill to swallow for some of us who don't believe aging is a thing. Today on the 24th Anniversary of that fateful day, we are releasing a very special episode in honor of our guest, Retired FDNY Fire Fighter John Larocchia and his 19 fallen colleagues from firehouse Maspeth Queens Haz-Mat Company 1, along with Squad 288! As fate would have it, John took that day off to care for his then 1 year old daughter. All of his brothers on duty that day responded to the call and never made it back home. Gut wrenching to say the least! John is now the founder of Laughter Saves Lives Foundation where their mission is to provide assistance to First Responders trying to overcome financial hardship due to an unforeseen tragedy or illness. John has found healing through comedy and has used his gift of being a comedian to not only bring a smile to his audence, but to honor those he lost!! This episode was truly something special. Thank you John for sharing the memories of your brothers and doing everything you can so that others never forget who these men were. EP: 73 Kennedy Littledike Bingham, Survivor and Motivational Speaker

Hang onto your seats as we sit down with one incredible woman who survived what most wouldn't. We are excited to bring you our in person interview with the legend herself, Kennedy Littledike Bingham. If you google search "Power Line Girl", a picture of her will pop up immediately. Back in 2021, Kennedy was involved in a horrific car accident that left her dangling 30 feet up in an active power line by her left leg. Thankfully after being stuck on the power line for over an hour, Kennedy ended up surviving and is now thriving in so many beautiful ways. The accident resulted in an above-knee amputation and a brachial plexus injury.  I am personally honored to not just know Kennedy, but can call her a very close friend. The fight this girl has inside her is something fierce. I am forever grateful that she not only survived her accident, but also grateful to have her in my life. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did. Also a very special thank you to the Adaptive Training Foundation for letting us jump in their back office to record this special episode. We love them and you Kennedy!!
