Normalizing the Importance of Mental Health in All Communities

Normalizing the Importance of Mental Health in All Communities

Oftentimes, we hear that mental health is taboo and should not be discussed, especially in certain communities. In this episode, we sit down with our special guest, Britni Cannon, MS, LPC, and discuss the importance of healing. Overcoming traumas in a healthy way can strengthen positive bonds instead of trauma bonds.  How we respond to the difficulties we have endured in life is important and affects the way we communicate with others in our workplaces.  As we build communities of C.A.R.E. through DEIB, we want to ensure that we create caring environments where everyone embraces the importance of mental health. We will look at the organization's role in this process.
You can tune in to hear more about how you can take care of your mental health in a healthy way without embarrassment or shame.
