Bears Overperforming, Sam Darnold’s Turnaround, Favorite NFL Bets, World Series Is Must Watch TV

Colin’s joined by Danny Parkins, host of “First Things First” on FS1. They begin with the strong start for Danny’s Chicago Bears and why every Bears fan should be happy with the results 25 games into Caleb Williams career. (3:00) Colin highlights the importance of getting the quarterback right because the bottom 6-7 teams are completely unwatchable (8:00). They debate why international NBA stars like Jokic and SGA  in the NBA Finals don’t get as much traffic as stars like Ohntani in the World Series (17:00). They discuss the must-watch nature of the World Series and the  watchability of postseason vs. regular season baseball and debate whether Luka’s brand combined with the Lakers could buck the trend (19:30). Colin argues he’s been right for years that Joel Embiid was fool’s gold and despite his talent, he doesn’t mesh well within the construct of a team (29:30).  They talk about the great turnaround in Sam Darnold’s career  and discuss the huge whiffs by the Vikings and Browns letting Darnold and Baker Mayfield leave and thrive elsewhere (36:00). They look ahead to the upcoming NFL slate and which games they like from a betting perspective (41:30), and debate where the Packers coach stacks up against other coaches in the league (54:00).  Finally, they give their takeaways from Zohran Mamdani’s win in the NYC mayoral race and Danny is happy he doesn’t have to watch any more ugly  anti -Mamdani political ads. Colin argues that political parties, like NFL teams, are only good when they land their star (1:02:00). All lines provided by hardrock.bet (Timestamps may vary based on advertisements.) Introducing Neuroscientist Emily McDonald: #1 Science-Based Hack to Rewire Your Brain to ACTUALLY Manifest the Life You Want from On Purpose with Jay Shetty. Follow the show: On Purpose with Jay Shetty Do you believe the brain can be trained to manifest? Do you think it’s more about mindset or action? Today, Jay sits down with neuroscientist and creator Emily McDonald to explore how rewiring your brain can transform every area of your life. Emily shares how understanding the science behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors can help you break free from cycles of fear, self-doubt, and procrastination. She explains that the brain’s natural instinct is to keep you safe, not help you grow, which is why so many people feel stuck even when they’re trying to move forward. Through relatable examples and neuroscience-backed tools, Emily reveals how awareness, intention, and identity shifts can create real and lasting change. Jay and Emily dive into the psychology of motivation, discussing why we often delay the things we care about most and how “cheap dopamine” from social media and instant gratification keeps us from deeper fulfillment. Emily explains how to retrain your brain to crave long-term rewards, not quick hits of pleasure, and how to use self-compassion and small wins to build momentum. Together, she and Jay unpack the science of manifestation, why it’s not about wishing for things to happen but about wiring your brain to become a match for the life you want. In this interview, you'll learn: How to Rewire Your Brain for Change How to Break Free from Feeling Stuck How to Overcome Fear of Success How to Stop Relying on Cheap Dopamine How to Build Motivation Through Self-Reward How to Attract Healthy Love by Becoming a Match for It True transformation doesn’t happen overnight, it begins the moment you decide to understand yourself more deeply. When you learn how your mind works, you realize that every setback, fear, and doubt isn’t a failure, it’s simply your brain trying to protect you. 5. Caleb IS The Bears Problem, Broncos BLOW OUT Cowboys, Trade AJ Brown? Drake Maye Is A STAR

    OCT 27

Caleb IS The Bears Problem, Broncos BLOW OUT Cowboys, Trade AJ Brown? Drake Maye Is A STAR

Colin’s joined by John Middlekauff, host of “3 and Out” to break down all the football action. They start with the Ravens beating the Bears without Lamar Jackson and they praise the Ravens for their smart, safe gameplan and agree that the biggest problem for the Bears… is Caleb Williams… and they believe Ben Johnson could move on from the former #1 overall pick (3:30). They move to the Texans win over a beat-up 49ers team that couldn’t get pressure on CJ Stroud. Colin argues the medical staff may be the biggest issue for the 49ers who have had more players miss games than any other team in the league (14:15). They pivot to the Eagles drubbing of the Giants and debate whether the game proved the Eagles don’t need AJ Brown and should move him before the trade deadline (27:00).  They heap praise on Drake Maye for his play in the Pats win over the Browns and argue he’s ascended into a top 8 quarterback in the league. They believe the Pats could win 12 or 13 games and think a trade for AJ Brown could be in order (35:30). They move to the Denver Broncos drubbing the Dallas Cowboys and Colin argues that Sean Payton used the Cowboys leaky defense to unleash Bo Nix (48:00). They highlight a very weak 2026 college quarterback draft class (56:00) and argue Brian Kelly’s time at LSU is likely over. 6. Prime Cuts - MASSIVE NBA Gambling Scandal, Ohtani The Greatest Athlete Ever? Broncos INSANE 4Q Comeback

Prime Cuts - MASSIVE NBA Gambling Scandal, Ohtani The Greatest Athlete Ever? Broncos INSANE 4Q Comeback

Colin’s top takes of the week. First, Colin is joined by Danny Parkins, host of “First Things First” on FS1. They dive straight into the MASSIVE gambling & match fixing scheme that ended in the arrest of  Chauncey Billups, Terry Rozier and Damon Jones. They call it the “NBA’s Pete Rose” moment, and Danny argues Chauncey should be thrown out of the Hall of Fame if the allegations prove to be true (3:00). They discuss the world of underground gambling & the history of the intersection of the mafia, gambling and sports and Danny explains why the level of regulation in legal betting is what caused the players to be caught tanking their player props (11:00). They argue that these types of scandals will happen as long as the leagues are in bed with the sportsbook, but there’s no going back with the huge money involved, and it’s better to have props monitored and regulated rather than move underground. Danny argues that there’s a solid case to outlaw “under” player props (16:00).  They also recount Victor Wembanyama’s absolutely insane 40 point performance against the best frontline in the league and debate whether he’s already the best player in the league at 21 years old (26:00). Then, Colin is joined by John Middlekauff, host of “3 and Out” to break down the absolutely insane 4th quarter comeback for the Denver Broncos over the New York Giants (35:15), debate whether the Chiefs have regained their status as the best team in the NFL (47:45) and Colin argues that Shohei Ohtani is the greatest athlete EVER (53:00).  (Timestamps may vary based on advertisements.)
