This self-love thing is kinda hard…

We are back b—-ches. Did you miss us?! On our first episode back, we have a major catch up sesh. Of course it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t have a Pattern moment. Ya’ll know we love that app. Cathryn talks about what it’s like living alone for the first time in her thirties, feeling ungrateful for wanting more out of life, and being in state of hypo arousal. Brittany talks about trying to find more ways to stay connected to herself and intrusive thoughts. We touch on Amazon’s Shiny Happy People and the stereotypical gender roles enforced in the Duggar family. We also discuss falling into the trap of comparing our lives to what our parents’ lives looked like at our age, our struggles with consistency, and so much more!

My Self Care Staple

I appreciate the authenticity both hosts seem to lead by and the amount of resources they both tap into. I usually listen after therapy sessions or during recharge time and their episodes almost always line up with my self-work.

Super relatable, vulnerable, and real.
