Such a great podcast and inspirational! Please bring it back

What happened I loved this podcast. I don’t know why it came to an end. I hope it finds its way back.

I first reviewed this podcast after the Justin Chancellor episode, which I loved. I just listened to the John Feldmann episode and I highly recommend it. That’s a guy who’s been around the block and knows the business inside and out. I’ve learned a lot from Striking A Chord and discovered new artists. And the artists I don’t really listen to, I at least end up gaining respect for.

If you’re into music and especially if you play in a band, this is a great podcast. The guests come from many genres of music but they are all top notch. The host doesn’t make it about himself, which is refreshing in music podcasts. He asks thoughtful questions that get at both specifics about the artist as well as insights into music in general...so I usually get something out of it even if unfamiliar with the artist.

Great hearing from the different sides of rock and metal. From Tool to Jason Richardson - two great composers. Keep it up, I need more!

I gave 3 stars because I’m basically giving 5 stars for the guest selection and 1 star for the host. Evan needs to learn how to interview. He is really one of the most boring, unprepared, non personalities I have ever heard. I can actually hear the guests get annoyed with him. Joe B basically carried his own interview. Evan - listen to how Howard Stern interviews people and please take notes!!

A monthly podcast consisting of Justin Chancellor would suffice.

This was a very informative, on point interview. It covered important info about string gauges and recording techniques. Keep them coming.!!!!
