The Black Guy Who Tips Podcast

Shoutout to yall! 25 years in the game may the black guy who tips podcast with king rod and queen Karen rain forever! Everybody go watch the movie black knight starring Martin Lawrence. Classic comedy. When you guys do the house of the dragon recap, scenes from that movie play in my head because it’s has similar black comedic jokes with you all the swords, and spears, and dragons. You guys should make a black lord of the rings or do a lord of the rings recap with y’all own jokes and stuff like y’all do house of the dragon. Showing love from Dallas, mavericks are better than the hornets.

I first discovered this podcast back when I was looking for Season One recap of House of the Dragons from a Black perspective. This podcast was such fun and so engaging that I started listening to it more and more. I think my favorite thing they do is the weekly listener feedback episode. It has me laughing out loud while working out at the gym which I do every Sunday. I hit the gym several times a week but my workouts are always more satisfying when Rod and Karen are there in the gym with me. I recommend everyone take the BGWT to the gym with them.

My favorite thing is when y’all go on a run with the puns and play The Who. Makes me so happy 😁

To say I knew that Rod and Karen would have they own show, bringing people joy, information, and education from a melanated perspective would be a lie. But am I surprised, absolutely not. So, soo proud of you guys. The jokes, political views, the movie and show recaps and just the vibe take me back to the random crew email chain and flashes of convos a Fay State. I’m so glad y’all are in a space that you won’t get Ryan Clark’d…🦗🦗🦗 too soon? So glad to call y’all friends and to see y’all spreading the same love and energy through the podcastverse as anyone that knows y’all feel. Love you guys. PS Karen step yo shirt game up 🤣✌🏼
