Inconveniently does not follow other Bible app plans

I am used to following a “read-through-the-Bible-in-a-year” plan on a phone app. The app remembers my place and tracks my progress for me. I just sit down with my coffee beside me, and my Bible in front of me, and follow along - either in my physical Bible, or in the app Bible - as the app reads to me. If I’m traveling I can listen to the Bible that day and still stay on track. If it’s a genealogyI can speed up the reading.

I am used to that organization, simplicity, and convenience.

I appreciate Trillia’s weekly reflections and the weekly podcast commentary between Trillia and other teachers/speakers.

HOWEVER - This plan does not have a LISTEN feature - AND - does not organize readings following any of the readily available Bible app plans. I cannot use any of my phone Bible apps to stay on track!!! WHY?!

HOW did Trillia divide the readings? Her book is way ahead of any app plan I can find. THIS IS INCONVENIENT.

I challenged all my friends to get Trillia’s book and download the podcast and read through the Bible with me this year!!! Several of them accepted the challenge. Sadly, I do not like this plan because I have to use a calendar, check off the days, use bookmarks in Trillia’s book and my Bible. I feel like I’m juggling paper and books. It slows me down. I am frustrated enough to write a review.

I WOULD LIKE THIS BOOK IF I COULD USE A BIBLE READING APP ALONG WITH IT. I’m going back to using my phone and I’m ditching the book. Sorry. I’ll probably listen to the weekly podcasts… and if I don’t lose the book… I’ll read the weekly reflections.
