I really enjoyed this podcast. The host was spectacular. His voice and emotion lent much to the story. I remember the Hale-Bopp Comet, and how beautiful it was. Too bad that a cult used its appearance as a catalyst for a very selfish act.
Love the host but the show ran out of material

I’m a big fan of Snap Judgement and Spooked, and given the host’s history in a cult I thought he was a particularly fitting choice. My complaint is with the choice to have it drag on for 10 episodes, which pushed the series far beyond the number of episodes it should have had to keep the topic interesting. There is nothing wrong with a 5 episode series!
Just tell the story

If you have a story to tell, tell it. In most cases it’s best to just start at the beginning and tell it from there to the end. Sure, you can do some foreshadowing, some look backs and so on, but don’t keep recapping as if we have no attention span, and don’t keep emphasizing the incredible importance of one event — we get it, this meeting was an important moment in the story. But just tell the story. Get on with it.
