    A Catholic's Diary - Attacks on the Mind/Spiritual Warfare

    Hi everyone! The year is wrapping up and we are on our final episode in year 2025. Can you believe it?! Anyways, as we enter this new year, I wanted to talk about reaching our full calling and potential this upcoming year, and how attacks on our mind block us from doing so. First off, let me just say, evil only attacks when we are doing something right. Its goal is to block us from full communion with God. So ultimately it's a compliment cause we are definitely doing something right :) But this should not stop us from embracing our true calling and being on the same page as Abba! Let this new year be filled with blessings and hope! God is so so good. Let's get the strength to trust in His plan for us and embrace our true selves! God bless, Alisha

    A Catholic’s Diary - Can God Really Fulfill My Desires?

    Hello family!! In this episode, we are going to touch on if God can really fulfill our desires. Sometimes we are tempted to believe that His story for us will be boring. That He won't consider our desires and we will end up unhappy surrendering it to Him. The truth is that He sees us. He hears us. And He will fulfill our desires and more!! Woah how cool is that? Let this episode be a reminder that the Lord delights in us and wants the best for us. He gives us desires and dreams for a reason! Of course He wants to help us reach that. I have a small request for my listeners today. READ PSALMS 37. The passage is all promises the Lord has for those who trust Him. So let's continue to do that even though life gets tough sometimes. He sees you and loves you. Let Him take care of the rest :) As always, God bless!!

    Hi family! Welcome to A Catholic's Diary!! It's been a while and I did indeed take a bit of a break. But I am back and excited to restart this podcast. This is just a fresh introduction talking about the purpose of this platform and why I am here. I am a college student who is growing in the faith and I have always desired having a platform to share my experiences with the world.     A Catholic's Diary - Finding Peace in the Midst of Chaos

    Hi everyone! Excited to be back and talk about this topic. I believe it's something so many of us struggle with and want a guidebook on what to do. But the truth is in the simplicity. We just have to trust our Abba. But how exactly do we do that? Well, it is a journey and it's something we need to keep working on. Like any relationship/friendship, we need to be consistent and build trust. So work with Him. Read the Bible. Understand the promises He has for us. My favorite one from this episode in Proverbs 16:3-4, "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble." So take courage!! He's got your back :)

    Hi Brothers and Sisters! Let's talk about change. I know. It's a little scary and a little uncomfortable, right? You may be going through a breakup, stepping into adulthood, or moving to a different place. There are so many different things that can shake up our comfortable lives. But change promotes growth, and more than anything, it strengthens your relationship with God (if you want it to). God can work wonders during this time, even if you might be starting the journey late. In this episode, we talk about the biblical passage regarding Lent and the three different actions that tie into Lent: Fasting, Prayer, and Almsgiving.     So hi guys! It's been a while, I know. But we are back again and stronger and more faithful than ever. In this episode, I will break down some ways to build trust with God. Trusting is hard brothers and sisters. Whether it be at home, with our friends, or at work. Trust needs to be built. It isn't always easy, but it is possible. As we grow in our relationship with Abba, trust is a fundamental part of it all. So let's walk together in this journey of building trust with Him. He is eager and waiting to be a part of your life.
