A Deep Dive of the Content + Language Framework

Learning sciences research tells us that, in order to comprehend oral and written classroom instruction, a student must know 95% of the words used. But this is not the case in most math and science classrooms. In this episode, we examine the gap between merely teaching vocabulary and embedding language into math and science -- and why a content-based language instruction is so critical.
