Hi, I’m Shannon Marqueta, and no one really ever taught me how to eat healthy or manage my time.
I didn’t know anything about nutrition, so I found myself eating whatever was easy, which definitely impacted my energy, weight, and focus.

Making decisions can be scary, for anyone - but learning to trust ourselves and taking action, whether big or small, helps build self-confidence.
Avoiding stagnation helps with self-discipline, clarity, and builds experience.
We can learn from others, but learning to also trust ourselves and that we don't need permission for decisions that affect our life is freeing and empowering.

46 \\ Why “Simple” Is My Goal
Just because something seems complex, confusing, overwhelming, difficult, or involved does not make it better. Simple can be better and should be our goal.
As Albert Einstein said, "if you can't explain it simple, you don't understand it well enough."
We need to keep the main thing the main thing, as Stephen Covey says in his book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (linked below).
Don't get tricked into trying to do everything and it needing to be stressful and overwhelming all the time. Do what you are meant to well, and keep it simple - for everyone's sake.

A MUST LISTEN!
I just stared listening to this podcast and I love it!!! I have not found one I have liked or excited to keep listening but this one has hooked me in. I love how motivating and uplifting this podcast is every day. Really has become a part of my daily routine. Oh and now my fave low calorie coffee is Cafe Americano with cinnamon powder! Yum.
