I began making podcasts so that I could talk to my audience about topics that I couldn't cover in writing. Then, one Sunday, I found myself overcome with emotion after listening to an old recording of my father when he was in his early twenties. Hearing his voice was like stepping through a door into another time. I've only met one of my grandmothers and none of my grandfathers. I would have loved to hear or read what they had to say. It gave me a newfound appreciation for my blog as well as for this podcast. As a result, I came to the conclusion that I should make this more of a time capsule
