A Happy Bureaucracy

Do you want the IRS to implode and never again suckle from the teets of the masses?! Will it take an apocalypse to solve our collective problem? Or will Tax Day be just another firefight to try and live through? Dose your water with acid, buckle your seatbelt and listen, to find out!!!

This gem is outstanding. Its hilarious, kind of tension building, and totally unique. It’s absurdity reminds me a bit of Confederacy of Dunces. I love that its read and not acted out by voice actors. It completely adds to its charm.

Of course the IRS would survive the apocalypse. Having read the books I know what happens. That doesn’t lessen the enjoyment of hearing the audiobook. While the premise is indeed strange the story works. It’s got humor. Action. Suspense. All told with lighthearted fun. The audio version sounds great. Subtle voice changes for the different characters. I’m looking forward to the following chapters.
