2.5: Meet the Parents, Part 2
In part two of this two-part series, Sarah sits down with her parents to talk about how they've created a healthy, loving marriage that has lasted 30 years (and counting), how to grow together as a couple but still have your own interests, and how to overcome challenges as a team. They discuss how Leslie's battle with breast cancer both challenged and strengthened the family, as well as give advice on how to find The One, and tell their love story that is definitely *not* straight out of a romantic comedy.
Sarah's mom has been a teacher for the past 30 years, spending the last 18 years at Mater Christi School in Burlington, Vermont. She is also a private tutor for the Stern Center in Williston, Vermont. In her free time she likes to bake, scrapbook, and binge watch shows on Netflix with her beautiful daughter. :)
Sarah's dad retired in 2017 after 25+ years as probation officer. He is currently an adjunct lecturer and Criminal Justice Internship coordinator for Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont. In his free time, he enjoys buying and selling antiques and collectibles at Five Corners Antiques in Essex Junction, Vermont.

Both Leslie and David have pivoted in their careers over time, and also discuss how to find new ways to do what you love.
