    25. Suzanne Somers - “Three’s Company,” her insanely successful career after getting fired from a hit tv show, skincare, hormones + more.

This week Jamie chats with tv icon Suzanne Somers!  No intro necessary but Suzanne starred as Chrissy Snow on the hit show “Three’s Company,” invented the infamous Thighmaster (Jamie owned one in college and loved it), and then went on to star in one of the best TGIF shows on ABC (“Step by Step”)…she has also written 27 books AND has a beauty, lifestyle and wellness brand.
They discuss whether or not “Three’s Company” would work as a TV show today, how Suzanne played the Chrissy Snow character, her best advice for single women as someone who has been happily married for 50+ years, her past with her alcoholic father and the path she’s taken to forgiveness.  They then get into her super smart and insightful take on hormones, hormone supplements and how no one has cared about women’s health until recently. (#Truth)
Suzanne also shares the one supplement she would take if she could only take one, info on organic food and GMOs and how the effect the body and, of course, Jamie wanted to hear the FULL story of her firing from “Three’s Company.” It all started when she asked for equal pay to her male co-star, John Ritter (the horror!)

This week Jamie talks to OG “Hamilton” cast member Carleigh Bettiol.
Carleigh is a part of the original ensemble/Eliza understudy in the Broadway hit “Hamilton.”  Aside from having a TONY AND A GRAMMY under her belt, Carleigh also counts being Jamie’s college suitemate as one her biggest accomplishments. JUST KIDDING.  But seriously, Jamie and Carleigh lived together in a dorm suite when Jamie was a senior and Carleigh was a freshman at Hofstra University.
They talk about all things “Hamilton,” of course, how she got her start, her audition process and how she got the role, the hair (of course), what she’s up to now, COVID’s effect on Broadway, her proudest Broadway moment to-date and more.
They end the episode telling a story about how they got catfished by a city in Texas for spring break 2005.  It’s a good one.

    23. Salvador Camarena is BACK on the pod! He’s your favorite and we give our hot takes on all things pop culture this week.

I’m so excited to have Salvador Camarena back on the podcast today. Sal was one of my first guests and his episode is still a top performer.
This week we start by chatting about what was just the right amount of too much this week and my beauty obsession of the week.  We then get into the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Sal’s friendship with Garcelle and the time went to a Mexican restaurant with Lisa Rinna.  We then go a little in on Kristin Cavallari’s divorce to hot/rich AF Jay Cutler, the Chris D’elia scandal and end, of course, with the Jersey Shore wedding drama.  But then Sal drops a BOMB and reveals his secret crush (who Jamie knows).
    Things we discussed:

So fun and honest

i’ve been following jamie’s beauty reviews for a decade, and she’s across-the-board honest, straightforward, and entertaining. this podcast lets her extend those qualities beyond the beauty arena, and i love it - she interviews a wide variety of subjects, and is totally fearless in her queries. five stars.

Brutally Honest

Jamie and her guests don’t sugarcoat the range of topics (some are light about skincare and celebrity encounters - others are dark about sexual assault and death). These are raw conversations with notable individuals sharing their stories. Jamie has an innate ability to get guests to open up in a way that feels seamless. These chats are both humorous and thought-provoking. A must-listen for sure.
