I heard a tale that each cowboy would bring a section of fence to set up the ring during the very first rodeos, but turns out I couldn’t find that anywhere online lol.     I became fascinated by the dust fall when I read the book The Four Winds by Kristen Hannah. It outlined a family, who had to leave their farm in Texas and move to California to try to find work. I am so amazed that people were able to live through this time and what it took for them to survive, so I decided to deep dive the dust and figure out what really happened during this time period.
