EP 153 | The default mindset of being optimistic

In this episode, I’m sharing a big life update and the mindset lesson that came with it. I’m unpacking why I don’t think optimism is just something you either have or don’t have, and how it can become a skill you build through practice, mindset work and intentional thinking. In this episode, you’ll learn: - What it can look like to move through big life changes with an optimistic mindset - How your default thinking can shape the way you experience stress and uncertainty - Why optimism is a skill you can build, even if it doesn’t feel natural right now - How practicing a more resourceful mindset can shift the way you move through challenges - Why choosing optimism can help your life feel lighter, more joyful and more supported Resources for you Join my email list of beautiful mums here to stay in the loop, feel less alone, and get the pep talks you didn’t know you needed. APR 30

EP 152 | Why the most powerful work is in the hard emotions

In this episode, I’m talking about why some of the most powerful work we can do is learning how to sit with the hard emotions. The ones we would usually want to run from, hide from, gloss over or shove down. I’m talking about what it can look like to build emotional resilience as a mum, why this work can feel so uncomfortable, and how allowing emotions to be there can actually feel lighter than constantly trying to outrun them. I share how I think about hard emotions, what it means to invite them in without letting them control you, and why this work has such a powerful ripple effect for ourselves, our kids and the people around us. In this episode, you’ll learn: - Why hard emotions don’t mean something has gone wrong - How to stop outrunning uncomfortable feelings - What it can look like to build emotional resilience in everyday life - Why sitting with emotions can feel less exhausting than avoiding them - How this work helps you feel more capable, connected and proud of yourself You are strong enough to feel the hard things, and that every time you do, you are building a skill that will support you for years to come. EP 151 | How to overcome the impact of context switching

In this episode, I’m talking about the impact of context switching and why it can leave you feeling so mentally fried. Lately I have been navigating a big shift in our family rhythm with Freddy starting school, and it has made me so much more aware of just how often I am switching between different roles, responsibilities and headspaces in a single day. I’m sharing what context switching has looked like for me recently, how it has impacted my energy, my focus and my mental load, and the three things I keep coming back to when I need to support myself through it. In this episode, you’ll learn: - What context switching can actually feel like in everyday motherhood - How to notice when context switching is tipping you into overwhelm and depletion - Why your self-talk matters so much when life feels fragmented and all over the place - How the offload practice can help lighten the mental and emotional load - Why planning ahead can make context switching feel so much more manageable This episode is your reminder that if you are feeling stretched by all the different hats you are wearing, nothing has gone wrong. You may just need more support around how you are moving through it. 4. EP 150 | Having the courage to be misunderstood

    APR 16

EP 150 | Having the courage to be misunderstood

In this episode, I’m talking about a lesson that I have had to learn over and over again. Having the courage to be misunderstood. Because when you start getting really intentional about how you want your life to feel, how you want your days to look, and the decisions you make to support that, not everyone is going to understand. And that can feel really uncomfortable. In this episode, I share: - Why being misunderstood is actually part of living intentionally - How looking at life through your own lens can feel isolating at times - The connection between your thoughts, emotions and daily experience - Why other people’s perspectives don’t make your choices wrong - The moment where you have to stop looking outward and start backing yourself - How to build the courage to keep going, even without external validation - When to lean in and when to step back and protect your energy This is about learning to trust yourself more deeply. To make decisions that align with how you want your life to feel. And to keep going, even when the people around you don’t fully get it. Because nothing has gone wrong. You’re just doing life your way. Resources for you Join my email list of beautiful mums here to stay in the loop, feel less alone, and get the pep talks you didn’t know you needed. APR 9

EP 149 | How confidence impacts your ability to share your mental load

In this episode, I’m talking to you about something that sits right at the core of sharing your mental load. Confidence. Not just confidence in yourself, but confidence in your support team and your ability to actually offload things in a way that works. Because so often, what I hear from moms is this quiet thought sitting underneath everything: “I just don’t trust that it will be done properly.” And when that’s there, it makes total sense why everything ends up back on your plate. In this episode, I talk about: - Why lack of confidence stops you from sharing your mental load - The hidden thought patterns that keep everything sitting with you - What actually happens when you don’t address this - How confidence is built through structure, not hope - The role of the offload practice in creating real, lasting change This is a really honest conversation about what’s actually going on beneath the surface when sharing your mental load isn’t working. Because once you can see it clearly, you can actually do something about it. 6. 148 | Journaling to start your year.

    APR 2

148 | Journaling to start your year.

In this episode, I’m sharing one of my favourite ways to start a new year. This is an exercise I’ve been doing for years, and every single time I come back to it, I am blown away by how powerful it is. It gives you the space to actually think about what you want without shutting it down before you even begin. In this episode, I walk you through: - The journaling exercise I use at the start of every year - How to write from the end of the year looking back - Why removing limitations changes what you allow yourself to want - The different areas of life to reflect on - How this creates clarity, direction and aligned decision making - Why coming back to your writing throughout the year matters This is your invitation to slow down, take an hour for yourself, and give your brain the space to think a little bit bigger. Because when you actually let yourself write what you want, without shutting it down, things start to shift. And you might just surprise yourself with what comes out. EP 147 | What do you want more of? Ending 2025

In this episode, I’m wrapping up 2025 with a warm hug and a simple mindset shift that you can carry into the new year. I’m sharing one small but powerful question to ask yourself over the break. This is something to keep your perfectionist brain from spiralling into “do all the things” mode and help you anchor into something that actually feels doable. In this episode, you’ll learn: - A simple end of year reflection that doesn’t involve overthinking or overwhelm - How to choose one thing you want more of in 2026 - Why perfectionism gets loud when you’re planning for a fresh start - How to avoid the all-or-nothing trap and start where you are - What bare minimum action really looks like (and why it’s so effective) Whether you’re feeling reflective, overwhelmed, or just ready for a break, this episode will meet you where you are and give you something gentle to hold as you close out the year. Listen now and come back feeling a little more grounded. See you next year!!! EP 146 | But…how have you contributed to this result?

In this episode, I share one simple journaling question that blew my mind and might just blow yours too. It’s one of those sneaky little prompts that I often skip over, especially when things are actually going well. But asking it recently helped me see just how much I’ve been contributing to the life I love and how easily I was brushing past my own effort. In this episode, you’ll learn: - The simple question I use to reconnect with the part I play in creating results I love - Why recognising your contribution helps you create more of what’s working - What can happen when we assume things just happen to us instead of because of us - How to hold onto that grounded, empowered feeling on the good days - A mindset shift to help you feel proud of your progress without waiting for someone else to say it If you’ve been working hard behind the scenes and not giving yourself an ounce of credit, this will feel like a big exhale.
