Relationship Anxiety and How To Manage It

Relationship Anxiety and How To Manage It

    Hi, Hi, Hi!
This is a topic that keeps coming up and up in our therapy practice so LETS TALK ABOUT IT.
    Sound familiar?
Are you someone who constantly finds themselves overthinking relationships? Do you often wonder if your partner truly cares for you or if you're good enough for them? Relationship anxiety is real, my friends, and it can stem from various factors such as attachment styles, past negative experiences, low self-esteem, and poor communication skills. But fear not, because there are ways to overcome this anxiety and build healthier relationships.
Here are some of the major points Olivia hits on this episode...
Relationship anxiety can lead to behaviors such as seeking constant reassurance, controlling actions, doubts about compatibility, and overanalyzing words and actions.
Overcoming relationship anxiety involves communicating feelings, living in the present moment, confronting anxiety, and going to therapy to understand and change relationship patterns.
This is crucial -  self-awareness and addressing personal issues is crucial to create healthy and meaningful relationships.
Remember, you deserve to be in a relationship where you feel valued, supported, and at ease.
