    Friendship series: Lessons we learned from our friendship

    BOOM BABY!! We finally got around to editing this episode after it sat unedited for 9 months. Basically, the amount of time a baby grows in the womb. I make that reference because this final episode of our friendship series was a huge project and it took a ton of time. But through the last 9 months we have both grown so much and I (Laura) feel like a whole new human. So, as I am living my reborn era, enjoy this final episode of our friendship series. These are lessons we learned from our friendship and trust me, you don't want to miss it! This is our final episode of season 1 of our Podcast and this spring 2025 we will be launching season 2.     We both have experienced friendship breakups and wish we had biblical advice while we were going through the painful process of grieving a friendship ending. There is always something to learn and we are so thankful that God has been faithful in teaching us how to grow through a painful circumstance. It may have taken years but we have learned a lot and we are stoked to share what we have learned so that if you have or are currently experiencing this, you can have an idea of what to do and what not to do. But of course, seek the Lord yourself and we will be praying for you!

    It is a beautiful day to be alive! However, sometimes we don't see the beauty that every day brings. Life is going so fast and we have so many things to remember and accomplish. Today we are sharing why gratitude is so incredibly important. No matter who you are, what you believe in, gratitude is proven to weaken depression. Gratitude changes our hearts and focuses our attention on the positive. And not in a toxic positive way. We acknowledge that there are very painful experiences we all have, but there is also room for gratitude even in those moments. Gratitude also fights the enemy in his own game and gives God glory!
