Customer Reviews
Nate Hensley…
I used to work custodial for a school district, very early hours, like the sun’s not out yet for a while early. I was picky with my podcasts/listening materials, as this market of podcasting is incredibly over saturated, and when you gamble with listening to something new and unheard of by yourself, more often than not you end up listening to trash.
Early one summer morning, working in an elementary school by myself, I started listening to the “Night of the Long Knives” saga of A Scary Home Companion. I was terrified and hooked.
The pictures he helped paint in my head of these characters, and longer down the road noticing the DEVELOPMENTS of these characters he created, has to this day been unparalleled.
Nate Hensley belongs in podcasting, and you outta subscribe. Start with the Machinist.
Awesomely Scary
Hella good stories ... awesome work !!
Best Horror Universe out right now, may be ever
American horror at its best!
Two smoking barrels of Gothic Americana! A perfect podcast for lovers of Lovecraft and Gaiman. I cannot recommend this highly enough!
Confused and frustrated! How does the podcast keep getting ever better?! Is there no limit to how good it can get? I hope not!!! For anyone who may be a John Carpenter, Robert Rodriguez and Tarantino fan this podcast is a must! 6 out of 5 gore covered ninja stars to the face!
So how do we get a streaming service to make this into a never ending series? If you want a lesson in creating fantastic anti-heroes and truly depraved villains follow this podcast.
Layer upon layer upon layer of storytelling. This podcast is a so layered it is a baclava of horror, nightmares and blood. I am running out of accolades for this show and am concerned that the writer will soon consider me a sycophant…or possibly an unhinged stalker. Hahahahahaha!!! But no really listen to this podcast it’s wicked good. And portable! You can listen to it anywhere! Even in your car! Which definitely is NOT parked just two houses down from the writers abode. Pinky swear.
Ok final review. Something about a judges decree or some legal mumbo jumbo. This is a five star podcast. Give it a good listen and great rating. You can also follow the shows pages on IG and Facebook and Patreon….even if I am no longer allowed to for “certain reasons”.
(Note: the above was to make the world smile and by no mean a serious concern. Pinky swear!)
