A Score To Settle was initially my blog in which I discussed my soundtrack collection in relation to personal moments and memories. After a number of years, I decided to expand this topic into a podcast, so I could share more about the music. Retaining the same name, A Score To Settle is a podcast about music composed for Film and Television, through my own analysis of specific scores and album releases, overviews of certain composer careers and also interviews, both with those working in the industry and fellow fans.

Great stuff

Excellence and accessible podcast about film and television music, that doesn’t go for the obvious and overplayed.

Great podcast for music score lovers!

I’m enjoying this podcast more and more. Latest episode covers music Stu Phillips wrote for the original Battlestar Galactica. These scores stand the test of time and have really interesting back stories.

Episode on Franz Waxman is very enjoyable. It’s nice to hear the rich scores from Hollywood’s golden age, and to learn where John Williams took his lead for the heroic scores he would later compose.

So interesting, so unique, so enjoyable

SO, SO, SO good. If there's another podcast that discusses this topic as well, I haven't heard it. This is interesting and informative without ever being dry--the host is knowledgeable and super personable. Every episode introduces something new to me--I love it.
