Hosted by Rick and Canz, frontmen of comedy rock band Nightmares from the Discotheque, this comedy podcast takes a serious, skeptical look at the sillier side of paranormal phenomena.     Christmas Special 2019 (Episode 7)

    Rick and Canz return from their two month hiatus with the ‘A Table for Two’ Christmas Special 2019. In a one-off departure from their usual paranormal discussions, Rick and Canz instead talk about all things Christmas while waiting for their festival meals to arrive at Kensington’s, a swanky restaurant located somewhere in the UK. In this episode, Rick and Canz shoot the shit about their childhood experiences with Father Christmas, Canz challenges Rick to a google-translated Christmas lyrics quiz and the pair share some of their favourite Christmas traditions. There’s also a ton of new jingles, another Hypothetical Situations segment and loads more. We hope you enjoy this Christmas Special of ‘A Table for Two’.     Cryptozoology 1: Big Foot (Episode 6)

    Rick and Canz are still waiting for their meals in an Italian restaurant. To pass the time this week, they look to the world of Cryptozoology - the study of mythical creatures and folklore legends. As it's such a broad topic, this week's episode is very much an overview, also focusing on one beast in particular: The legendary BIG FOOT! Among other things, Rick and Canz listen to a 911 call from someone actually looking a Big Foot-type beast in the eyes, they listen to alleged recorded sounds of Big Feet creatures and they discuss their views on a range of common cryptids in the daft, new 'Real or Fake?' section. 'Hypothetical Situations' also makes a return, as Rick and Canz debate time travel, altering animals and... nice smells. A very giggly episode at times this week (in part due to the consumption of Dan Aykroyd's Crystal Skull Head vodka) We hope you have as much fun listening to it as we did making it.     Space, 9/11 and the Voyager Message (Episode 5)

    Rick and Canz are still waiting for their meals to arrive in Laguiata's, an Italian, beach-themed restaurant somewhere in the UK. The podcast is now five episodes in and the pair are becoming increasingly grouchy and weak with hunger. In a departure from the usual episode format, this week's episode takes more of a 'lucky dip' approach to the subject matters. Rick and Canz discuss space, the voyager message, the tragic events of 9/11/2001 and everything in between. This week's song is provided by American metal act KoRn, and Rick and Canz get to know each other on a deeper level than ever before in the new segment 'Hypothetical Situations'.     Shadow People and Sleep Paralysis (Episode 4)

    Rick and Canz are still waiting for their meal in Laguita's Restaurant. To take their minds off their hunger, Canz introduces Rick to the terrifying world of sleep paralysis and Shadow People. The pair discuss their own personal experiences of shadow people, they detail the three main types of Shadow People (Bifta-type, Lost-type and Hill House) and discuss possible causes, as well as some potential explanations for these spooky monsters. They also look into other people's Shadow People stories in new segment 'Scary Stories from Around the World'. The duo also veer massively off-topic multiple times, debut a number of new jingles and play a song submitted to the show by early 2000's nu-metal act Papa Roach. Finally, Rick and Canz listen to some scary recordings captured on sleeping apps, allegedly of ghoulist entities, and Canz shares one of this own recordings. Thanks for listening.     Near-death Experience and Clairvoyance (Episode 3)

    Rick and Canz are still waiting for their meal to arrive in Laguita’s, the 5-star, beach-themed, Italian restaurant. They pass the time this week by discussing near-death experience (NDE) and clairvoyance. Rick shares his own experience of almost being hit by a train, the pair discuss their thoughts on what NDE actually is, and Canz challenges Rick to a true-or-false quiz called ‘Has this celebrity ever had a near-death experience?’. Rick and Canz also give their own confused summery of the classic 1990 movie ‘Ghost’, Canz has issues with flatulence and listener Marv sends in his own NDE-themed song.
