Care for a Spot of Tea?

Join us for A Wee Natter, the radio show about the not so important issues of the day. We kick off this episode with preparations for St George's Day. Does England have a national anthem? We then go from the nightmares of a country to the nightmares of our listeners.

The conversation then opens up with you to find out about the things you love doing but are not so good at. We crack on making this radio show and asking you to pick between our covers and originals. Turns out DIY capers are a common theme.

The conversation then goes off the rails when we explore the problems with time travel. Surprisingly it's not the tropes you already know about that we touch on. We then move onto a celebration of National Tea Day.

Elected returns with some new rules for BREAKING NEWS alerts on your phone. Our Sunday Quiz also returns with a visit to the world of Top Cat. This then expands into a discussions about the world of Internet famous cats.

We then go on to look at how everything is 5 out of 5 stars nowadays which in turn generates a complaint. Will we survive? Only one way to find out!

Things come to an end with Jenny's experience encountering cows.

Can Marc Present a Radio Show on his own?

Can Marc Present a Radio Show on his own?

Join us for A Wee Natter, the radio show about the not so important issues of the day. We kick off with a discussion about the things that blow your mind. How did they work out that the moon controls the tides? The conversation then moves on to your weird and wonderful confessions.

Despite Marc presenting the show solo, the usual stuff continues with you deciding which version of Tainted Love plays in Covers vs Originals. We then look at a confession Amazon made about their fancy AI powered supermarkets. This might trigger a rant about AI from Marc.

Elected returns with your suggestion for a law that requires all tins to have ring-pulls on them. We then have a go at the quiz. Did you get the answer right?

We then explore the world of marriage and how messy name changes are. Oh, and we send an invite to the main East Midlands mayoral candidates onto the show. Will they take it up? Find out in a future episode!

    The Great Tea Conspiracy

    The Great Tea Conspiracy

Join us for A Wee Natter, the chatshow/talkshow/podcast about the not so important issues of the day. We kick off by mentioning the celebration of St Gertrude, the patron saint of cats. Oh, and some other smaller thing called St Patrick's Day.

We then move not so swiftly on to conspiracy theories. But not the big ones. We want to know about the daft wee ones you believe in! And talking of conspiracies, Jenny out of the blue let us know that she really wants to try out Irish dancing.

We then nip into the kitchen to make a tea only to be overwhelmed by bags for life. That then prompts us to look into another conspiracy. Are bags really for life?

As Casualty passes a new milestone, we explore the highs and lows of watching medical TV shows. That then leads us onto a trip on the busses and down memory lane. We then go even further back to the start of Facebook which is 20 years ago now!

After our usual quiz and Elected! segments, we then look at a titanically bad idea that someone keeps having. That's before Jenny implores us to look at what's in a name.

    Mother's Day at the Movies

    Mother's Day at the Movies

Join us for A Wee Natter, the chatshow/talkshow/podcast about the not so important issues of the day. It's Mother's Day this week as we help you to cover for the fact you totally forgot about it! Talking of forgetfulness, we then moved onto the addictions we both admit and don't admit to.

Marc then makes a massive screw-up and starts a trend that continues throughout the show. In an attempt to cover up, we then have a patriotic moment. Things turn for the worse again when we chat about all the ways we used to get in trouble as kids. Compared to one kid we heard about this week, we were all rather tame!

With the live show landing on the same night as the Oscars, we make up our own movie awards that film makers probably don't want on their mantlepieces.

Even with the night being a special one, we still continue to build the people's manifesto in Elected and ask a somewhat untimely question in the out of date quiz. We then go on to discover a mystery safe in the bungalow. Can you guess the combination to open it?

    From Twinkle Reader to Singer

    From Twinkle Reader to Singer

Join us for A Wee Natter, the chatshow/talkshow/podcast about the not so important issues of the day. In this week's episode we kick things off with a quick look at the Brit Awards and how these sort of things tend to make you wish you had the skills.

Talking of good intentions, we then explore those things we bought years ago, used once or twice, then end up sitting in a cupboard. Jenny then remembers something from her childhood that popped up on the Internet.

With the leap day this week, we look at some of the traditions surrounding it and even suggest some new ones of our own.

Elected and the infamous quiz return as always. Though this time, we come up with a test for proving whether a relationship is strong enough to survive a marriage. Can we hear wedding bells or will it be a divorce settlement for this one?

We then look into doing good things for charity while someone else takes the credit. And in an attempt to make things more upbeat, Jenny swiftly moves us on to Gavin and Stacey.

    Shouting Bungalow at Bingo

Join us for A Wee Natter, the chatshow/talkshow/podcast about the not so important issues of the day. In this week's episode we kick things off with a look at what you'd do if you won a serious amount of money. Turns out you're all quite generous!

We then explore how two words that on their own cause no trouble but bring them together and they strike fear in everyone's lives. Talking of fear, we then take a step into the world of international politics. Who'd have thought fish and chips was such as controversial topic.

Noticing that we aren't exactly experts in the topic, we then moved on quickly into some of the more mind-bending elements of bingo. No, really, that game you play with a dobber. And on the topic of games, we then have a discussion on video games and playing them in odd places.

Perennial favourites Elected and the Ancient Quiz return. We also explore one of the paradoxes of the vinyl revival. Oh, and why does a bottle of washing up liquid last so long?
