How would YOU address Utah's homeless issue?

Salt Lake City's mayor expressed frustration this week when she announced the city would be adding a temporary emergency homeless shelter on the west side. Her frustration is that no other city in the County, or even the state, is stepping up to address this problem that is not just Salt Lake's problem. We heard from the CEO of Apple this week, Tim Cook. He said he wants us to stop mindlessly scrolling on our phones. KSL Newsradio's Amanda Dickson wondered if that admonition is like a tobacco company asking us not to smoke so much or if you take him at his word? She asked her guests on A Woman's View. Her guests this week include Kathy Aiken, long time sportscaster for KSL TV and founder of The Forget Me Not Project, Katie Matheson, Deputy Director of Better Utah, and Kathy Nelson with Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services.

Awesome on Point Direction

I just listen to the most recent episode of women’s view and I thought to myself that this is what people need in their life to really fill and experience what’s going on but to know that there is a answer to the problem they were talking about UTA and how it should be used In a different way and also brought up the shooting in Florida and some of the rules that could help prevent Mass shootings

Need better balance

I appreciate the premise of topics that interest women. That being said, most of the guests have very liberal views. Would like to see more balance in the views of the women.
